  • The tiny girl cooed, shifting around in the soft pink blanket she was bundled up in. She let out squeaks as tears fell down her rosy cheeks. She had been left here by her mother who could not take care of her. She let out a tiny 'achoo!' as a snowflake fell delicately on her nose. She gently looked up and whimpered when she saw someone coming towards her. The name 'Paige' was sewn onto the blanket in purple thread

  • Mimi looked down at the infant and picked her pu, "Shhh, it's okay." she soothed, "Paige," she murmered upon seeing the name in purple thread.

  • She shifted in the blanket, her soft brown eyes looking up delicately at Mimi. She let out a petrified squeak as she was picked up and shifted more in the blanket, trying to get away, afraid.

  • "Shh, it's okay. I'm not going to hurt you." I whispere to her as i held her close to me rocking her to calm her.

  • She reached out to her with tiny hands and cooed softly, calming down. Her eyes blinked sleepily as she let out a small yawn.

  • "That's better sweetie." i smiled at her, her face was bright pink from the cold, "Well then lets go to my house."

  • She clung to her gently and sniffled, she let out tiny coughs and started to shake from the cold

  • MImi~
i smilled down at the infant and soon we were in my house, i sat the baby down and made her some warm baby food.

  • The tiny baby crawled around the house, exploring. She tried to crawl down the steep stairs

  • "Oh no!" I sighed as i took hold of her, "We dont wqant you to hurt your wittle head!"

  • Soon it was eight, I picked Paige up and carried her to my daughters room. My daughter had died in a car crash a few months ago but i wasn't going to tell Paige that.

  • I rocked her in my arms, singing to her in my semi-sweet voice. I call it that because every one says my voice nis that of an angel, but i don't see how.
"Small one, your dreams are calling.
Little girl, you eyes are falling.
And as we go, the wind is slowing."
