Ooc: Yeah I know. She's just interupting like she always does.
-
"Definitely. I know that I'm one of the only tributes that is not afraid to be theirselves, and I would gladly give this Capitol a piece of my mind. If I die, I'm going to die rebelling. So many of us think that they can't afford to act like who they really are. There are twenty-four children, and only one is intended to make it out alive. If they want to play their game with me, they can, but not without a fight!" Valor growled. She had some anger management issues, and knocked over a glass of water. The goblet fell to the ground, and was broken into pieces. "Somebody broke that..."
-
Shay nodded agreeing with every word not even flinching when the goblet broke "i was dieing in district twelve, i come here they trow up for fun" she growled mumbling so Sabrina couldnt interrupt and only Valor could hear
-
"Just keep in mind that the world is watching us.... even when we're trying to hide from them. I've watched it so many times on television... Well, not because it's entertaining, because I'm concerned about the tributes. We have to come together. All of us..." Valor murmured. She was talking about a rebellion, and she knew it. Maybe some of the sponsors liked this attitude, and she had a chance.
-
"i like you style ,kid" she smirked and leaned closer whispering "what do you got in mind?"
-
"We could live in the area forever. We would all make sure that there would be no victor, and I would be willing to kill myself in exchange for the Capitol's destruction." Valor explained.
-
"i like it" Shay whisperd intrgued
-
"Still, listen. Obviously, not every tribute would agree with us. We'd have to do what we could to pick those ones off, then survive in the arena. We have to talk to everyone, and learn their opinions about the Capitol." Valor tilted her head.
-
Clove, the mentor, walked into the room and said, "I want to help. More than anything you can imagine, I want to help. You dont know what it feels like to loose the one you love in the games, in a few days you might. I want to prevent this for people, so count me in." clove looked arround, "besides, the Capitol trusts me, they like me, I could figure out thier plans, like an undercover spy."
-
"there is a few of these kids that get to me..." she said referring to Sabrina
-
"Great. I've heard stories about you, and I'm a pretty big fan of most of you mentors. I know that you're telling the truth." Valor reached out to shake Clove's hand.
-
Clove high fives it and laughed. She smiles and said, "thanks! So you watched the games I was in two years go?... I still miss him." she looked down then looked as if she was pushing that thought away
-
"I saw your games. I was eleven. I remember your name, and I can guess his. You're Clove from District 2, correct?" Valor asked. It sounded more like a statement than a question, though.
-
Shay diped her head "so your in?"
-
"ya" clove said to both questions. She looked at the one talking Bout her love, "Kyle. His name was Kyle." clove got a lump in her throat
-
"It wasn't Cato?" Valor muttered, then spoke up. "I'm really sorry."
-
Clove nodded, "ya cato sorry. I called him Kyle, inside joke, though it's not that funny anymore." clove looked down at the floor.
-
"I'm really sorry." Valor repeated. She was really sorry, though she had no idea what it had felt like. Just the thought of losing her brother in an accident with the axe ran through her mind. Valor placed her hand on Clove's shoulder and stood. "I've never loved anyone in that way before. He won't want you to forget him. If you feel really miserable about it, focus on the good times." Valor was talented at cheering everybody up but herself.
-
Clove nodded. "I know, after he was killed in the games, I got my revenge on his killer. Part of me wanted t win for him, but the other half of me didn't want to stand as the victor in the games my love died in."
