  • "Good catch," Santiago commented, noting the size of the rabbit. Santiago personally thought rabbit was only OK, but he would eat it if needed. And this rabbit was certainly an exception. Santiago glanced at the mouse that was in front of him and his stomach made another growl, as if asking for it.

The post was edited 1 time, last by ~*CloverII*~ ().

  • "OK," Santiago agreed as he sat down and began to tear the fur off the mouse to reveal the juicy and tender mouse meat. He began munching on the juicy meat with a satisfied look on his face.

  • Santiago stared at the cat. He was still a bit resistant to tell him the cat's name. He tried to think of another name. Until the cat proved trustworthy, he could not reveal his mate's true name.
"Umm...Lewini." Santiago said with some thought, recalling the name of a kittypet that he used to know.

  • Asiatic sat for a moment. He knew the cat had lied to him. A few minutes ago, he had started to say Ho, they begining of his mates name, and now he says Lewini. "I'm sorry, but i dont not know of any cat by that name."

  • Path of Silent Rain, or Rainpath as he was called in short, was creeping through the bushes. Not really hunting, not really doing anything. The young fighter had begun getting a little restless after the battles stopped. Of course, even with less bloodshed going on, there were still a few minor things that needed to be handled occasionally. Like misbehaving kits, arguing, disloyalty... That last one made the black and dark brown tom unsheathe his claws. Rainpath wasn't born into the Tribe of Many Storms, but he was strictly loyal to no cat except Elixor and his Tribemates. Other troubles existed to, like....

Intruders...? Rainpath's eyes narrowed at a scent that was not recognizable as a Tribemate. Lowering himself so that his dark fur would camoflauge in with the dirt and shadows, the young fighter slunk forward. His midnight colored eyes caught sight of one familiar character, a tribemate he was sure of it, and the intruder. "Aisatic? Is there a problem?" he hadn't met for it to, but his words had come out laced with a tone of hostility. It didn't help make him seem any friendlier when he shot Santiago a cold, hate fillled glare.

  • Rainpath stood stoic and guarded for a moment longer before nodding to the older fighter and sitting down. "A mansion cat? There's not some battle going on that we need to take care of, is there?" he asked, licking a paw and pretending to not be hoping that that was the case. Some times the young tom was too blood thirsty and battle hungry for his own good.

  • "Not that i know of. You know, if you go looking for fights, your going to wind up getting killed. You need to calm down, maybe find a mate. Your young, live life, look forward to the next day, not the next battle." Asiatic as worried about the young cat. He didn't like to see his Tribemates get killed, expecially young ones.

  • Santiago watched as Asiatic and Rainpath talked to each other. He didn't bother to say anything, worrying he would say the wrong thing like before. He didn't want to sound impulsive. He looked over at the sun, which was starting to fall below the horizon. Maybe I should soon think about finding a place to stay for the night. I might find a decent hollow in one of the trees. Santiago thought to himself.

  • Rainpath instantly felt anger run through his skin, causing his fur to stand on end. "Don't tell me how to live my life," he growled, not meeting the older cat's gaze, "I don't need to calm down or find a mate, all I need to live is to feel the rush of adrenaline and the flow of blood beneath my claws!" Though he spoke with conviction, the young fighter's dark blue eyes were dull, he knew his life was incomplete. He did need someone else.

"Feh, but what I'm doing isn't the main concern," Rainpath meowed quickly, "If there's no fight, why is he here?" He waved his tail to Santiago with an annoyed look.

  • Asiatic shrugged. "He's looking for his mate. And since im also of the Elite, i thought i could help him. But unfortunetly, i dont know his mate."

Asiatic just brushed off the younger cats anger. I just didn't want to hear the cold hearted truth. "So," he said, turning back to Santiago. "Would you like to stay the night here"

  • Santiago looked up. This cat was offering to let him stay the night in the camp? Santiago, again, was amazed by the cat's generosity. Never had he expected such an action from the cat. Maybe he finally found someone who could open his heart to him. Santiago started to feel bad about lying to Asiatic. But he would tell him the truth, if time permits.
"Oh, senor, with all the kindness you have shown me, a mangled stranger, I would be foolish to say no." Santiago greatfully thanked. He tried to avoid the gaze of Rainpath, who didn't appear to be the friendly type.

  • Rainpath didn't like this stranger. He somewhat knew Asiatic, but this Santiago fellow... this was the first time the young fighter had ever seen him. "Looking for his mate, sure, okay," he snorted indignantly as if he thought they were trying to fool him. They were both from the Elite though, in all honesty, Rainpath had no power over them and wouldn't have the right to punish him or take him to Santiago. "Fine, whatever, it's none of my business anyway, I guess," he growled through clenched teeth. Whipping around to turn his back on the other cats, Rainpath slunk back into the undergrowth and into the shadows where his pelt would blend in with ease.

((Rainpath out... lol, I know that was kind of random, but I hadn't played Rainpath in a while. I'm sorry if I messed anything up :( ))

  • Santiago was pleased that he could finally sleep in safety, rather than having to sleep in hollows or in logs like he had grow accustom to in the past moons. Maybe he'll finally get a chance of groom his matted fur.

OOC: Are we going to make a seperate thread?

  • ((It don't matter. We can stay in this one))

Asiatic got up and began to walk to the safety of the ToMS camp. "Camp is this way."

  • (OK then :))

Santiago slowly padded behind Asiatic, who was now leading him toward the campgrounds. He was happy that tonight he was going to get better rest.

  • Asiatic headed to one of the many holes that lead to the sleeping areas. He disappeared down one and waited for Santiago to follow.
