Meta paced. Her breathing was rushed. This was alarming. She felt the lumps in her stomach. No, not in her stomach. By it. And she was convulsing. Maybe she should see the healer. But no... She heaved, and an organ appeared. The organ had five limbs. No, it wasn't an organ. It was a kit. She stared at in wonder before licking it wildly, nipping the cord connecting it to her.
So. I see him again in them (Meta's kitting, open)

ooc - Memorykit // Memory lost forever {Memoryloss} x3
ic - The spotted black half serval kit grew cold as she was exposed to the outside world, making her shiver and squirm faster to the safety and warmth of her mothers belly. As she pressed up against Meta, he shiver seemed to die and replaced with a warm feeling as the shekit kneaded her mothers belly to suckle.
-
Meta smiled at the kit. She would remember this always. Memorykit." she decided outloud. Her first kit was Memorykit. It was decidedly big. She was sure newborn kits shouldn't be this big regularly. She heaved again, and another large organ- no, kit- appeared. The kit wiggled about. She thought of a name. Her childish crush on Elixor came to mind.
Brody and Elixor had made her see that being attracted to large cats didn't necessarily mean love. "Curekit." she named her. Another kit was born. It was male, and a bit larger than the rest. She tried to think of a name, but another kit interrupted her. It was small, male, and decidedly deformed. She shivered as she nipped the stillborn's cord. Meta shoved it away, not willing to think about the stillborn. "S-still-ki-" she gasped, then shook her head. No. She didn't want to name it that, but she did.
She looked over at the stillborn, and did the only thing she could think of. She bit the small body, and devoured it in a few bites. It settled uneasily in her stomach, but this kit was back. If she had a new litter, she could think of the male as this one. Feeling at peace... Well, more than before, she groomed her kits.
-
Memorykit continued to suckle until she grew too tired to do so anymore. Streching and getting comfortable, the tiny kit curled up again her sibling and difted into a sleep.
-
Meta survied the remaining litter. Stillkit, Memorykit, and Curekit were all healthy. She tried not to think of the still nameless stillborn. It made her stomach turn. Curekit suckled, leaning against Memorykit. Stillkit was nearby, also hungry and suckling.
-
As her siblings suckled near her, Memorykit shifted in her sleep, a dream she would not remember playing in her head.In her dreams, a soft bird chirp sounded from a robin, that soon fluttered off in the distance at the sound of a ruffle. The ruffle soon came up as a darkness as the half-serval woke up, blind once more and not knowing what happened.
It was forgotten, the dream that has no purpose at all to it.
-
Meta licked Memorykit gently, trying to lull the kit back to sleep or simply calm her kit.
-
Memorykit was calm, but the gentle rythm of her mothers grooming soon lurred her back into a deep slomber, a tiny managed purr erupting from her throat.
-
Meta smiled as she heard the rumbles of her kit's purr. She felt drowsy herself. Laying her head down, the queen was soon asleep.
-
Memorykit yawned and soon her purring died down as she slept.
-
Stillkit yawned. He leaned against his siblings, feeling nice and toasty, though not as warm as if he was still in his mother's belly.
-
Memorykit lowly opened her eyes, looking at the fuzzy vision of her mother. It was quite funny how she looked and the serval hybrid let out a small giggle, trying not to wake up her siblings..who also looked funny in her blurry eyesight.
-
The small giggle woke up Stillkit. He blinked at Memorykit and mewled his distaste, able to idenify who did it from the sound's direction. He focused on the blurry shades of black and gray, unable to go to sleep again.
-
Memorykit pawed at her sister and giggled even more. It was still a bit blurry.
-
Curekit woke up and tried to bat her sister between the ears. She wanted to go back to sleep!
-
Memorykit stumbled back at her sisters swat, but thought she was just wanting to play, too. Letting out yet another giggle, she crouched down and leapt at Curekit.
-
Curekit scrambled away, mewling in ignorance. She tried to bat her sister again, to get her to stop. Her tiny, milk-white claws were unsheathed.
-
Memorykit gasped as her sisters claw hit her muzzle, though it didn't leave a mark. She still whined and scrambled over to her mother, a tear rolling down her cheek. "Mumma. Hurt."
-
Meta gasped and licked Memorykit furiously. She noticed Curekit sheath her claws, bumbling over to her sibling in confusion. "Wha wong?" she questioned. Meta gave her a look. She was only a kit, but better learn the lesson now. "Don't claw your sister." she exclaimed.
-
Memorykit hissed at Curekit when she asked what was wrong. Like she didn't know. Brat. She buried her face in her mother's fur, still glaring at her sister. "Yuh, no hurt me," she whined, ears flat against her head. She only wanted to play. She wasn't doing anything wrong. So why did her sister turn against her?
