He eventually made it back to camp, leaving a muddy trail behind him. In his mind, this was a sour day for him...and the sun hadn't even risen yet

    Roleplay sample: A sharp cry rang through the empty forest, but no one came to the rescue of the kit. Pain throbbed on all four of his paws. His mother had taken him for a walk and he had gotten seperated. He was sure that she would come looking for him, but now, his hope was fading.


    The rain started pouring when the sun set. His fluffy pelt hung slickly against his bones. Nex curled up in a tree hollow, too tired to go on. Maybe it would be easier to die, out in the rain. His mother would surely find his limp body, she might even be sorry that she left him. Except the pleasure of death never came to the lonley kit.

    " Hhhh..." Fari struggled to control her breathing as she looked at the tom. She slowly sank down, flicking her ear at his hiss. She didn't bother looking around; exhaustion took her and she drifted into a sort of waking trance, conserving her energy within her. Her eyes slid shut.


    His image passed before her eyes again and Fari closed her eyes. She pushed Kreal's face out of her mind, ignoring all thought. She relaxed to the greatest of her ability and forced herself to stop shaking. It was hard. She felt the tremors pass up her spine. She wasn't sure if she was sitting, standing, laying or floating. She couldn't feel a thing besides her exhaustion, pain, hunger and thirst. It was a different sensation than any she had felt. She had traveled before, most of her life in fact, but yet this one journey had taken everything out. Maybe it was her emotional pain that had put her in this state. She wasn't sure.


    The tremors stopped and she slowly opened her eyes. She gazed at the tom before her, somewhat more composed now. She felt more gathered, more together. However, she still winced at any slight movement, still gasped for breath every few minutes, still wanted water, still hungered for prey. And Pari and Kreal's faces still flashed before her eyes.
