  • Whitepetal stepped in to notice the leader had been sleeping. "Sorry to wake you, I would've waited if I knew you were resting." She meowed, but slowly walked into her den anyway. "Yep. And there's something I need to tell you about, um, Silverlight, is it?" She said softly, nervously shuffling her paws.

    (Gotta go!)

  • She looked up. "What about the she-cat," she asked, "She knows the warrior code." She really didn't want any more bad news. "Please tell me it's not any more bad news," she said even though she knew it probably was.

  • Whitepetal shrugged slightly. "I guess it depends on how you think of it." She hesitated before continuing to tell her the news. "Silverlight is expecting a litter. I'm sure of it. She has all the signs including nausea, weird cravings, stomachaches, headaches, exhaustion..."

  • Featherstar stared in shock. "Just my luck," she mumbled, "Two cats are captured on my territory and one of them is a queen." She began to pace around the den. "What are we supposed to do," she asked, "If we keep her prisoner then there will be outrage throughout our clan, if we don't then she'll free her mate and escape."

  • "I really don't think they meant to go onto our territory. They probably didn't even know TreeClan had existed." Whitepetal meowed, trying to sound reasonable. "And how can keeping prisoners help our Clan anyways?" She was starting to like Thunder and Silver, so she hoped she could convince the leader to let them go.

  • "We have been leaving our scent markers," she exclaimed, "My clan is not invisible!" She paced furiously around her den. "Letting them leave would cause as much outrage as imprisoning the queen," she said.

    Ooc: maybe we should move the tribe attack to sooner

  • {Lol, it's your choice. How much sooner?}

    "Why don't we ask the Clan then?" Whitepetal meowed, the words pretty much slipping out of her jaws before she could catch them. Her eyes widened slightly, hoping the leader wouldn't react so badly to her barely chosen words. But in a way, they were quite wise, if you thought about it.

  • Ooc: 1-3 days

    Featherstar stopped pacing to meet the medicine cat's gaze. "I'll let you try," she said, "but the attempt will be futile and spilt our clan down the middle." She then realized something. "Does the queen know she is expecting kits?" If she doesn't know then maybe no one else will and she can still be imprisoned.

  • Whitepetal sighed quietly and shook her head. "No, I decided to tell you first." She replied honestly, looking down at her paws with her white tail curled around them. Featherstar was probably right though. Asking the Clan would just cause disagreement and a huge argument. That seems to be one downside about the Clans...

  • "When do you think she'll notice if you don't tell her," she asked impatiently. She knew she could probably imprison the queen until they decided what to do with her. "And what about other cats," she asked. She had never had kits so she didn't any thing about them.

  • "It depends. Some take forever to figure it out, thinking that they're sick or eating too much, while others know what's going the first week. Which is mostly because they've had kits before, but I don't know if she did." Whitepetal explained softly. "I really don't when, Featherstar."

  • Featherstar sat and pondered this for a moment. She sighed. "Is there anything else I should know about the prisoners," she asked. She decided to wait to imprison the two cats. She was really upset.

  • Whitepetal shook her head softly. "I don't believe so, Featherstar." She replied, avoiding looking into her leaders eyes, as she was afraid to show how worried she was for the couple.

  • She sighed. "No injuries," she questioned just to make sure. Why does everything bad happen to me? she wondered. "You forgot to mention any injuries," she stated. She noticed some nasty scratches on the two when she saw them earlier. "I thought I saw some earlier," she said.

    ic| "Yes, there was quite a few scratches on the she-cat and some on the tom. But all wounds have been treated, and they should be healing pretty quickly." Whitepetal answered while perking up her snow-white ears.[/justify][/fancypost]
