    OOC: Okay, I wanna rp my cat all the way to a warrior. I'll ty to be more active so I can reply quicker. Also, I don't mind if the mentor wants to rp on this thread or create another so long as we go onto the official ceremonies thread so Shadowkit can get his apprentice name. :3


    IC: A fluffy tortie-and-white tom burst out of the nursery entrance like a badger, stumbling around excitedly. Normally he was a well-behaved cat, respecting the quiet peace of DarkClan's typical camp. Today is the big day! Thought the delighted kit before his legs suddenly gave way.The small heap of fur landed on the floor. The wind that whistled thunderously through the trees found it hard to compete with Shadowkit's laughter.

    Shadowpaw instinctively dropped into a crouch. His copper eyes watched every move his mentor made, waiting for him to spring at any moment. If he comes at me I'll try to dive out of the way...

    The small tom tried to remember anything, any move that he had seen the other apprentices practicing back at camp. OOF! Literally, Shadowpaw was sent flying across the clearing from the force that Beetail had hit him. "Aaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh!" He yelled in pain while in mid-air.

    He whimpered softly as he heard the THUD. THUD. THUD. of his mentors pawsteps getting closer. At the last moment, he sprung into the air and punched him across the face, claws sheathed. Then he ran as fast as he could behind his mentor, ready for the next attack.

    "great job Shadowpaw you really can trick someone" he said dropping down ready to dodge if Shadowpaw lunged at him from the side or straight forward.

    Shadowpaw felt warm all over now. "Really?!" Well that did kinda hurt when you knocked me over but... He decided to keep that to himself because he was pretty sure that ws what a warrior would do. Then he planned the next attack. He lunger towards him, hoping to bite his tail.
