    "Hey guys" May said on the way in. "Fantasy today then May your so easy to read why not dress like a normal person to shop". "I like to dress up what can I say". She quickly found the fantasy section as if she lived there. "Let's see. Oh this one's new. I have got to get it" she said taking a book called. 'Recognizing Changelings. The things you need to know before you leave your home'

    [align=center][font=papyrus][color=white]"Wierd title." Was all Fury said. She needs to know. We can't go on like this. He told himself.

    "It's probably going to be another silly book this guy has yet to take a work I take seriously. But this..." she said taking a small book out. "This auther I trust. She writes all kinds of educational books. I'll get this one too". 'Shapeshifters of our tiem' "That looks like all the new books today" May said getting back up. "Any new romance books" she asked the ladies. "Nope not much that you would like came in".


    After she payed for her books the two stopped by the park at the spot they had first met. There was none else around or at least it appeared that way.

    [align=center][font=papyrus][color=white]Fury smiled, sitting down on the park bench he slept on and motioning for her to sit next to him.

    She nodded and sat beside him. "Remember this spot. It's where we first met and I had you pretend I was your girl friend. I don't think I ever properly thanked you for that" and she leaned in and gave him a kiss on the cheek. "And if I have then that's for next time you do something sweet for me".

    Fury smiled, kissing her back. "Thank you." Stop it! You're getting too close! He told himself, but he ignored it.

    (Yep with girlfriend Tina looked it up. He's spying on them now)


    "Your welcome" she said happily. "You know I'll always think of you when I read this book" she said holding the bag up. "It wasn't my best day there but I still scored some books" he looked up to the sky. "It looks like it's going to be terrible today. I'm heading home so my books don't get wet did you want to come over for a bit"?

    [align=center][font=papyrus][color=white]Fury shrugged. "Sure." He told her. He suddenly tensed. "You get the feeling we're being watched?" He asked.

    "No. Then again I can't tell when people are looking at me and they are right there so a hidden person would be out of range" she said pulling out her books. "So which do you want to look through. The Changelings one should be worth a laugh".


    Alex glared at Furyy when he said that. 'Is that just a human thing or is it his monster sense' he thought to himself. Just then his cell phone started to ring. 'Shoot not now' he whispered looking to the phone.

    [align=center][font=papyrus][color=white]"You can read that one. I'll read the other one." Fury smiled, forgetting what the other one was. He almost jumped as he heard the cell phone go off.

    "OK" she said handing him the other book. "That author really knows her stuff" she said before turning to the table of contents in her book. She heard a cell phone go off. "Your phones ringing" she said not looking up at him. "Wait. It's coming from somewhere near by but not us" she said pausing.


    Alex quickly answered the phone. 'Hey sugar' he whispered. 'I'm a little busy at the moment I'll call you back as soon as I can' he whispered before hanging up. 'Shoot they heard it' he thought when he saw them reacting.

    [align=center][font=papyrus][color=white]Fury could easily tell who it was by scent, but he shook his head. "Some random person. It IS central park." He told May, flipping through the book. Real, not real... I know one of those... He thought as he saw each of the pictures.

    "But it sounds really close like there trying to spy on us. You got that feeling like someone was watching you. Maybe it really is someone" May said getting to her feet. "I'm checking it out whether you want me to or not.


    'Shoot. I'll be discovered. I need some distraction just long enough to slip out of here'.


    Just as May reached the bush her cell phone started to ring. ('Poison by Alice Cooper') "That's Alex she said pausing. Should I answer it"?

    [align=center][font=papyrus][color=white]Fury shrugged. "I wouldn't. You have a mysterious ringtone to locate." He said, trying not to laugh.

    "Right" she shoved her face into the bush just in time to see a pair of shoes disappearing out the other side. She quickly pulled out and ran to the other side to find Alex crawling away. "Look who came crawling back to me Furry" she said with a smile looking down on Alex. "I can explain" he said getting to his feet. "Tina and I had been playing catch earlier. We thought our ball rolled into there. We decided not to look for it at the time but I came back for it. Turns out it wasn't there" "Likely story. You were spying on us weren't you" she said glaring at him.

    [align=center][font=papyrus][color=white]Fury smirked at Alex from behind May, sticking his tounge out. "That story really WAS pathetic." He thought.

    "Fine not the both of you. Just him" Alex said glaring at Fury. I'm waiting for him to slip up and reveal himself. I know he's a monster I'm not crazy. That day at the pool he had a monster's head" Alex said hoping it was enough. May looked to Fury then back to Alex. "Now you listen to me. He's not a monster. He's a fine young man you on the other hand with your creeping in the bushes. I should call the cops and have you arrested" she said glaring at him. "Go back to your pet and leave us alone".

    [align=center][font=papyrus][color=white]Fury tried to hide his anxiety. He nodded once at Alex, acknowledging that he was right before turning away.

    Alex's jaw dropped. He couldn't think of any come back so he looked to his feet. 'Yes ma' am' he said barely louder then a whisper. As he walked away he thought. 'That's not how she would react. I think the guy is a bad influence on her. I have to give her concrete proof that he's a monster'.


    "GAH" May shouted when he walked away. "That Alex makes me so angry sometimes. Like he gets a stupid idea in his head and stops at nothing to see it through" she said sitting back down. "I can't believe he called you a monster. You don't look like a monster" she returned to her book.


    Changelings tend to kill a persons loved one then assume that form. While in the human form they feed off the love and affection that the other gives them. Then when the victim dies they move on. She read that line over and over again. Then she jumped to her feet. "I get it now. Alex is a changeling. When I stopped loving him he moved on to Tina" she said a large smile on her face.
