Phantom looked deep into his eyes and said, "That wasn't exactly what I meant. No thanks."

Stormstike kept his daze "Why not?"

"I just don't fit well with other cats." he muttered.

Stormstrike narrowed his eyes "Fine." he meowed.

Stromstrike didn't want the Loner to leave but he had no choice unless, "Why don't you join the clan?"

Phantom stopped, and eyed the cat. "I can see I'm getting know where soon. I'll come, but I'm only staying a short time."

Stormstrike could see the Loner made up his mind "Alright."

A small black tom noticed Phantom. "You-You're Phantom! The warriors were sharing tongues about you. They called you insane, but the warriors are never right. You're my hero." the black kit licked his own paw. "You're brave, spiritual and kind." he murmured.

Stormstrike glanced at the small tom "Who are you?" he asked.

"Kits," Ambershine rolled her eyes.

Phantom stared at the kit, shocked.

Stormstrike frowned "What's a kit doing here?" he muttered.Then he focused on the loner "So, not the first time you have showed up, if the warriors already know you, and call you insane."

Phantom shook his head. "They might have heard from more distant clans, but this is my first time venturing among the larger ones. I keep to the outskirts Earth itself."

"Why, I'm so much more than a kit."

Phantom turned his head back to the kit. He tilted his head. Was there a familiar spark in his eyes? Had he seen him before, perhaps from a distance?

Stromstrike wasn't going to let the loner get away now "You can't leave." he statted.
