Icewave a pretty, pale furred Leopard Seal lay on her side on the ice. The cold, wild sea crashed onto the icy shore. She watched the grey sea heave and thunder with her bright eyes. She spotted a group of small penguins ducking and diving in the water heading towards the shore several kilometres away from where she was lying. She would have gone and hunted them, but she had eaten earlier that day. Icewave shifted and her smooth fur rippled and glittered in the dim light. She let out a huffing sigh and crawled towards the raging sea. She had no fear for the wild water, she was born to swim the stormy seas. The sea spray splashed against her muscular back as she reached the raging water's edge. With a last heave she slipped into the freezing water and twisted away into the gloomy depths. As she sped through the water she spotted a flicker of movement. She twisted, slowing to a stop and fixed her fierce eyes on the spot.

Slow black eyes scanned the other seal in front of the male. Bubbles crashed around them in their own wondrous flurry, and he narrowed his eyes, swimming around the other seal. "What're you doing here?" Swift flicked his tail and snorted.
The she-seal looked like no threat, he wad just making sure.

  • She bared long, sharp teeth. Swimming in slow loops to keep him in view. "I live here," she hissed "what are you doing here?" She covered her gleaming teeth, her eyes sparkled as she steadied herself in the twisting waters with her powerful tail.
