A new Hawkclan apprentice looking for a mentor

    ic: Mousepaw opened her mouth to taste the air and tasted something nasty. It was mixed with mouse. "Can you smell that?" she asked unsure what it was.

    Rowanspirit nodded her head. "We should ask the leader to send some patrols out here. Maybe you and Tangleclaw will be part of the patrol!" Rowanspirit exclaimed, heading towards the camp.

    Rowanspirit padded after the mentor and apprentice, unaware of the surprise that lay in front of her. The scent had been of the medicine cat's approval, of spilling crow food and her catmint mixed together near where we were.

    Rowanspirit scampered into the camp. "SURPRISE!!!" Every cat yowled. She looked around confused, then at Mousepaw and Tangleclaw. "What's going on?" She asked, enjoying all of the excitement.

    Mousepaw tried to catch her breath after the surprise knocked it out of her. When she had enough breath, she said "Neither do I".

    The leader had leapt onto the Highrock, and began to speak. "Rowanspirit, we have decided to give you an apprentice. We can't stand to see you trailing after Tangleclaw and Mousepaw. Rowanspirit, I give you Brightpaw(step) as your apprentice. I expect you to teach her well." He mewed.
    Rowanspirit stood on the Highock, and touched noses with her new apprentice.


    OOC: Brightpaw is a completely black she-cat with blazing green eyes, and her right forepaw is white.

    Brightpaw licked her shoulder in return.


    Rowanspirit led Brightpaw to Tangleclaw and Mousepaw. "Brightpaw, meet my friends, Tangleclaw and Mousepaw." she mewed, flicking her tail to them when she said their names.


    Brightpaw payed very close attention. "Hi. I'm Brightpaw. I guess I'm sharing a den with you now Mousepaw." She mewed, smiling.

    Mousepaw smiled back, "this is going to be awesome! We can train together and yeah, share the same den!" Mousepaw was excited to get to know her new friend.

    Brightpaw nodded in agreement. "Totally! You'll just become a warrior before me unless I really push myself!" She exclaimed, practically bouncing.

    "Congratulations, Rowanspirit, Brightpaw. I can't wait till we can all train together!" meowed Tangleclaw.

    OOC: This is what Rowanspirit and Brightpaw look like, just to clarify.
    Rowanspirit-
    Brightpaw- Only completely black with only ONE white paw.


    IC: Rowanspirit nodded. "Thanks Tangleclaw. You help will be gratefully accepted if we need any." She mewed. Brightpaw nodded in agreement. "Neither can I! It will be a blast!" Brightpaw mewed excitedly.

    "Hmm... I've been thinking about that strange scent. Maybe we should go see what's up? The four of us?" meowed Tnagleclaw

    "Okay. It'll be Brightpaw's first time in the territory, we should make it last." Rowanspirit mewed.


    "Yay! I get to solve a mystery!" Brightpaw exclaimed excitedly.

    Mousepaw frowned thoughtfully, then said "should we bring extra warriors in case we are being ambushed." Mousepaw did not want to die young.

    Tangleclaw read Mouspaw's expression. "I don't think it's very dangerous, Mousepaw. You won't die!" she whispered, amused. She raised her voice so everyone could heart it now. "It won't hurt to take on more warrior, I think."
    ooc: can i roleplay the warrior who joins?

    "Oh. It certainly wont though, you are right about that!"


    ooc: That is fine by me!
