SPECIES:
Selkies: half seal, half human. Can turn into a seal, a human, or a mermaidish thing, but instead of a scaly tail they have a seal tail. Male Selkies are EXTREMELY rare, a one in a billion chance.
Mermaids/Mermen: half human, half fish. Mostly girls, sometimes male. Can have a fish pattern on their tale, i.e. Koi, goldfish, etc.
Sirens: Sing like angels underwater, scream on land. They inhabit the deepest parts of the ocean and are close relatives of mermaids. Girls and boys.
Naiads: Beautiful girls that lure male humans underwater and then eat them. Have no tails, ONLY girls.
Shark Men: Branch of mermen that have shark tails and fins.
Other Combos: Orca girls, etc.
THE KINGDOM(s):
The Mermaid Kingdom: Located in a beautiful coral reef. Huts are made from bits of coral melded together.
Selkie Beach: A wide sandy beach with a few sea caves. The selkies and their pack sleep here, but mostly roam the sea during the day.
Siren Canyon: A giant canyon near the Mermaid Kingdom. Underwater sea caves line the edge of the canyon, where the Sirens make there home.
Naiads: live in the Sun Reef
Shark Men: live in the Mermaid Kingdom
Other Combos: live in the Mermaid Kingdom
The Sun Reef: A section of coral reef where all the coral is sun-bleached. There are lots of Sunfish there, and the Monarchs and Patriarchs of each Kingdom gather there to share news.
