No turning back... (Cat washed up)

    Stormfur gave a soft gasp of surprise, it was amazing to her. "Wow, this is great!" she exclaimed. "Save when the water comes up, close enough for a good view, wow... imagine how it would look at leaf-bare!" she exclaimed, taking in every part of it then looking back at Arcaneshift. "Do you live here by yourself?" she asks.

    Looking a little forlorn, Arcaneshift nodded," All alone." He led her to a warm den in a hollowed out jungle trees. The inside was covered with moss," You can sleep here. I'll sleep in one of the other dens."

    Stormfur nods, still grinning, she knew what it was like to be alone, she can stand it, but she hated it. "Wow though, this place is amazing.Thank you-- again but I'm really grateful for this, I'll make it up to you some time" she mewed.

    Arcaneshift nodded and padded into the second most used den, what used to be the medicine cat's den. The Tom curled up in the nest, content that he had found someone new.

    IC: Storm was following them meanwhile, he had heard of clan cats, and if this was one, he was interested. Taking advantage of his tan-colored fur, he stood perfectly still, right against the wall listening. When it appeared no more talk was going on, he leaped away into the woods, arriving at a cove close to shore, it lead down into a tunnel with a cave.

    Stormfur sat down on some moss with a slight dip in it, perfect for a cat. Curled into a tight ball, her mind ran through the events that had occurred today. She remembered the last time she was caught by the waved, how hard it was to get familiarized with the lay of the land, with the prey to hunt and where to hunt. Her thoughts drifted to the black cat who's name was Arcaneshift, she was thankful for all he had done today and was determined to make up for it. Before she could think anymore, weariness washed over her and made her slip into sleep.

    IC: Storm dived down into the cove, not only did the tunnel lead to a cave, but over time, the sea had carved out a vast network of tunnels. True, they flooded, but he had learned to observe the tide, and knew tonight was safe. Storm curled up in a niche in the wall, high enough to be difficult to reach for floodwater.

    Stormfur had a distorted dream about hunting a mouse but then the foret she had lived in got flooded. She kicked out a leg slightly. (Time skip next posty :))

    Arcaneshift was up at dawn as usual. He padded out of the old den. The Tom discarded the idea of waking up the new cat. She needed her sleep. He pricked his ears, listening for the unmistakable chatter of monkeys or lemurs. Arcaneshift was disappointed to find that there were none around. The back cat headed for the gap in the barrier, going to do a little hunting in case a storm blew in, as they often did.

    IC: Storm yawned, his eyes slitting. He stretched, not wanting to get up, the niche was comfortable, and humid air from outside made things cool and dingy, dripping water echoed in the cavern.

    Stormfur remained asleep, her eyes flickered open once or twice as habit from her life as a clan cat but then the wariness washed over and she fell back asleep.

    He grunted, knowing he'd have to get up anyhow, so he rose to his paws and jumped to the floor, trotting up the tunnel he got a blast of air in his face.

    (Lol! Wake up call!)



    From force of habit, when the morning light fell on her face her eyes opened fully. Stormfur ached all over from her battle with the waves but it was now hard to fall back to sleep now fully awake.

    Arcaneshift's dark fur helped his keep to the shadows. The flashy green bird didn't know what hit it. Green feathers mixed with black fur without Arcaneshift noticing. He buried the prey before going off to find some of the herbs that he needed in his store. Eventually he came back to collect the bird, adding it to a frog and small snake, as well as an assortment of leaves and flowers. The black cat carried his treasures back home

    IC: Storm sniffed the air, his large, snake-like tail lashing, he headed off into the forest. Once there, he jumepd to the topmost branches, he knew a troop of monkeys lived nearby. Stealthily he approached the scent carried on the wind, jumping from branch to branch. He spied a straggler away from the group, and leaped, a screech rang through the forest.

    (Yes, though, the thread got locked for some reason and I could not unlock it. Stormfur was deputy of MossClan, one of the neighboring clans of AuraClan and SunClan I believe. Have as of yet to restart them, gosh though, spent hours typing out the places and description of the place and linking them all up XD worst then making the hg thread XD)



    Green eyes blinked slowly in the soft dawn light, Stormfur was watching a odd looking butterfly resting it`s wings on a outer spot of the entrance of the den. She dragged herself up to sit up and swiftly started to wash herself.

    "You're awake. " Arcaneshift mewed pleasantly," Are you hungry?" he asked, laying out the three bits of prey he had caught. The tom continued on towards the den he had slept in the night before. The scent of fresh water drifted out from the ferns and fronds. He gripped the flowers and leaves in his jaws delicately as he walked. Arcaneshift sorted out the herbs and placed the flowers in a small, barely connected pool of water so they wouldn't wilt. By the bigger pool, he slid lithely into a crevice, placing his stacks of leaves in their proper places.

    Stormfur grinned `` I could eat a fox!! (Quotation mark, messed up typing XD) she joked with a grin. (Qm) Thanks (Qm) she mewed, watching him with the leaves and got a sudden image of Softpaw, the medicine cat apprentice.

    Arcaneshift padded out of the den, shaking off bits of leaves and feathers. He padded over, taking the snake for himself. Snake was an aquired taste.
