RussettLeaf sat in the clearing warming his red tabby pelt in the sun. He had recently fell in the river and he was still cold. He scanned the clearing as he waited.

Yeah, I'm fine RussettLeaf replied. I'm just a little cold. He shook out his fur intending to get her wet.

she felt the spray of water hit her" aww no fair" she smiled

He laughed and said, I fell in the river earlier. You should have been there, it was hilarious. He shivered a little and shifted his body.

" no thats not funny... its only funny when clanmates fall in together" she smiled

It seemed funny at the time, RussettLeaf said. He laughed a little to himself and wiped the water off of WinterFern with his tail.

she blushed" well lets get you to the warriors den so you can sleep" she said

Yeah, I should probably dry off first He said standing. RussettLeaf walked over to some moss on a tree and began to dry off.

RussettLeaf finished and walked toward WinterFern.

she looked over at him" ready to go to the den" she asked

Yep, He said as he began to walk toward it. He looked back for WinterFern. He kind of liked WinterFern, he just didn't know how and when to tell her. They had been friends for a long time and he didn't want to ruin that.

she walked after him, saying hello to passing clanmates, then noticed Russetleaf looking at her, she blushed

He looked away so she wouldn't see him blush. RussettLeaf continued into the den and found his nest. He lay down and waited for WinterFern.

she walked in and sat down in her nest wich was right next to russetleafs

He yawned and fluffed out his fur. Goodnight, he said to WinterFern as he smiled.

goodnight" she said before closeing her eyes

He dreamed about WinterFern and began to purr in his sleep. He knew he was in love, but he wondered if she knew. He squirmed and shifted in his sleep, mumbling and purring the night away.
