    Allison stepped back. "Marcus!"


    Marcus walked back quickly and stroked Leo's side. "Shhhh. Don't yell. You'll spook him. Now, what is it?"


    Alli hugged Pumpkin. "He snorted at me."


    Marcus sighed. "That's what horses do, Alli." He smiled at Leo. "Come on, let's get you cleaned up." He walked away.


    IC: leo turns around swatting alli, he flattens his ears he was very head stroung and he was very hyper

    Marcus walked back and put a hand on Leo's cheek. "Come on." He walked away.

    Alli hugged Pumpkin tightly. "Mean horse......."


    Marcus walked to Leo. "Don't listen to her. She's only five." He shook his head and started washing him. "I'm sure you'll get along great with Sunset though."

    Kat goes and tacks up Caterpillar. She was bored, and wanted to go on a trail ride. As she was walking to the mounting block (She can't get on him regularly because he's big), she saw a woman, about 30 with her daughter, who must have been seven. Kat walked up to them, holding her horse's reigns. "Hello," she greeted them. "My name is Kat. Did you come for a riding lesson, or a trail ride?" The girls looks at her mom and her mom nods. "We want to go on a trail ride!" she said, excited. Okay, let me see if I can get another person to come with us and some horses. She walked back into the barn, with Caterpillar put in an empty stall with the door closed.

    Marcus patted Leo's side when he was done and walked to and empty stall. "You can stay in here for now." He walked to Sunset and started brushing her. "That's Leo." He finished brushing her and looked her in the eyes. "Be nice." He laughed and walked out of the stall. He locked the door.


    Allison was still wet from running outsuide in the rain. She sneezed and hugged Pumpkin.

    Marcus sighed. "I told you not to run outside in the rain."


    Allison walked to him and hugged him. She whimpered.


    Marcus picked her up and felt her forehead. She had a fever. "I need to get you into some dry clothes."


    Allison laid her head on his chest and nodded.


    Pumpkin snorted.


    Marcus put the miniature horse in his stall and then took his cell phone out of his pocket. He dialed a phone number and put the phone to his ear. "Hey, Derek. Why didn't you come to pick us up yet?....... You're not coming?...... We've already had to walk home three times this week! Alli's sick. She shouldn't walk outside in this cold weather......... I don't care if you're watching TV, Derek! You're supposed to take us home!....... Derek?...... Derek?........ Hello?......" He turned his phone off. "Lazy jerk....." He patted Allison's back gently. "Derek's not coming to take us home......."

    Marcus smiled at Leo. "Thanks." He wrapped the blanket around Alli tightly and sighed. "Be happy you don't have a lazy older brother like I do, Leo." He looked at Alli. "I guess we'll have to find someone else to take us home or wait for the weather to get a little warmer, so we can walk home."


    Allison nodded and closed her eyes. Her head rested on his chest.


    Marcus patted her back and hummed quietly to her while she slept.

    Jessica pulled up in an olf ford four-wheel-drive, rust was coming of the faded blue metal. "It's not much, but I can take you home", she said as she stuck her head out of one of the windows.

    Marcus nodded. "Thanks." He walked to Sunset and kissed her soft nose. "I'll see you later, Sunset." He walked to Leo and hugged him gently. "Sorry, buddy. I only give hugs to guy horses." He laughed.


    Alli waved to Pumpkin. "Bye....."


    Marcus walked to the ford and got inside. "Thanks again Jessica."

    Pumpkin sat down. "This isn't fair! I can't see over my stall door!"
