Jay put her on the couch. "Want something to drink?" he asked

"Sure," she mumbled, her blush slightly more noticeable, but not much.

"What would you like?" he asked

"Anything..."

Jay handed her a cup if tea. "Here" he said

"Thanks." She took the tea.

"Youre welcome" he said

She looked around. "Why did you help me?"

"Cause you needed it" he said "Also i couldnt stand there and watch a girl like you get beat up"

"You really didn't have to... I mean, they do the same thing every day since I got here."

"All the more reason why i should help everyday then" he said

Not quite what I meant... she thought before saying, "I'm Angel, by the way."

"Im Jay" he said "Nice to meet you Angel"

"Nice to meet you, too..."

"Well make yourself at home" he said "Ill go grab the first aid kit"

Jay came back with the first aid kit. "Alright where are your cuts?" he asked

"I only have one on my left arm..." she said quietly. She had one cut, but quite a few scars left from previous beatings.

Jay pulled out hydrogen proxide and poured alittle on her cut.
