"Why not?" Smoke asked, his brow furrowed in confusion.

"We just can't," she said

Smoke let out a weary sigh. "Okay then...We'll go this way," he meowed, turning the other way. He smiled warmly at Silverlight.

She looked away.

Smoke looked at the pretty she-cat worriedly. He sighed and let the hurt show in his eyes. "Please," he pleaded.

"Its just some bad memories," she said.

Smoke nodded. "Okay then," he meowed with another sigh.

She shuddered as she remembered what had happened there.

Smoke looked at the she-cat, worry obvious in his eyes.

She began to feel lightheaded. Everything turned black as she collapsed.

Smoke cursed as he saw Silverlight go down. He raced over and crouched down beside her.

She knew she was halfway to starclan at this point.
