  • Milkshake sprawled in her garden, her tubby ginger belly facing the sky, soaking up as much of the last of the summer sun's rays as she could. The tabby lived in the richer part of town, though despite her posh household, she was a very friendly and outgoing kittypet. Though one thing she couldn't stand were rogues, Horrid cats!
    Milkshake closed her eyes and sighed, resting her head back before snapping them back open and facing a nearby holly bush, she quickly stumbled to her paws, "Wh-who's there?" She asked, her voice shaking slightly.

  • "Ouch!" Cried Jasper, a seal point tom as he stumbled from inside the bush. He yelped as the sharp holly bush scratched his delicate skin. Jasper cursed as he made his way out of the bush.
    Once he had made it to the lawn of a posh looking garden, he turned and hissed at the plant that had made him feel so insecure, not that it would do any good but he just liked the thought of the tree knowing it's place.
    Jasper then turned to the cat who was staring at him. He smiled and bowed to her,
    "I see you're of the nice variety," He spoke, "It's a pleasure to meet you fine lady, I'm Jasper of Downing Street." He was proud when he spoke of the important street he lived in.

    The ginger tabby tilted her head, before nodding in understanding, "Oh! That's just down the road from here, isn't it?" Milkshake gave a soft purr, closing her eyes with a small smile, "I've been there a couple of times."
    She sat down and gave her paw a quick lick. Wrapping her feathery tail over her petite feet, her amber gaze flickering up to the seal point tom, "So, what are you doing in my garden?" The kittypet asked, her voice smooth as honey. She wasn't angry nor territorial, just curious.

  • Jasper lifted a paw giving it a quick lick, "I was out for my daily walk and smelt fish, I didn't know where it came from but I followed it and chance happened to take me here." He said gazing around the garden. It was bigger then his and Jasper slightly resented that, but, thinking again he admired the fact that there was another nice house in the area. Not like the other one's houses which were small and grimy. He shuddered at the thought. Thinking back to his garden he frowned, he would have to fire the gardeners and hire what ever god tends the she-cat's one. Thinking about it, he didn't know her name yet.
    "My word I have been rude, might I ask the name of my beholder?" He said sitting down.

  • ||Milkshake

    She gave another soft laugh, "Milkshake." The creamy tabby responded, "My name's Milkshake." She noticed him staring at awe at her garden, and couldn't help but smile. She was proud of her garden. Now that her housefolk were old, they had more time to tend to it, and she was so grateful for that, they really were great humans and she loved them so. Realising she had drifted off in thought, Milkshake shook her head, "So, what's yours?"

  • "What a lovely name." Jasper grinned but soon stopped, not liking sucking up to her, "Jasper." He smiled, "I would be king Jasper if I had my way though..." He though aloud.
    The sweet scent of roses filled his nose, "My, what a beautiful smell!" He gasped looking at her, "I haven't smelt roses since before my people fired the last gardener, the new one is all about 'the natural way' a disgrace of his trade." Jasper spoke with his head in the air, the old gardener had quite a fondness for cats but after setting alight to the garden shed, Jasper's people didn't really like the man anymore. Where as the new gardener hated the thought of cats in general. He would always spray Jasper with water whenever he was insight.

  • ||Milkshake

    Milkshake purred, her tail twitching against her paws to an unheard tone, "Oh, I don't have a gardener." She meowed truthfully, "My housefolk care for the garden." She gave another rumbling purr, "I do love them."
    She looked up to see a blackbird flying over their heads, and then she turned to the patio door, she opened her maw, but before she could warn Jasper, a hound started barking a frenzy inside the house, it's claws scraping at the glass of the door.

  • Jasper's back raised high, his eyes widened and he looked between the two noises, "Stand behind me!" He called to Milkshake even though he had no idea what to do himself.

  • ||Milkshake

    Milkshake glanced at Jasper, his fur on end, and suddenly erupted with an amused purr. She couldn't say anything, she just ended up gasping for air as she watched Jasper's reaction. Finally getting her bearings, Milkshake grinned, "D-don't worry," The tabby laughed, "It's just Rascal, the housefolk's dog."
    The creamy ginger tabby trotted over to the dog behind the glass patio door and sat there, watching it with an amused glitter in her eyes as it continued to yap.

  • Jasper stared at Milkshake then rolled his eyes and laughed, "The only decent female cat I meet has a dog." He mumbled to himself. Jasper relaxed a little and sat on the floor, "You had me scared there!" He smiled to her, rather enjoying her company.

  • ||Milkshake

    Milkshake turned away from the dog to Jasper, "Sorry." She purred softly, "I forget most cat's aren't used to dogs."
    The cream tabby got to her feet and trotted back over to the seal point, her tail billowing behind her. The barking of the dog got quieter as it was dragged away by one of the housefolk.

  • Jasper frowned, "I hope that beast hasn't done any unearthly things to you!" He hissed slightly, annoyed at how a dog could treat a cat. The tom realised what he had just said sounded like, "Oh no I didn't mean like that..." He stared, a blush flew over his face.

  • ||Milkshake

    "Oh no." Milkshake purred, "Rascal's actually really nice, we curl up on the sofa together and play a lot." The tabby chuckled, "Dogs really aren't that bad if you know what you're doing."
    She curled her tail over her petite paws, glancing around. Milkshake flicked her ears, unsure what to do.

  • Jasper raised an eyebrow and smirked slightly, "Are you suggesting that I don't know what I'm doing?" He asked cheekily, in fact, he had no idea what he would have done if the dog had come bounding out.

  • ||Milkshake

    Milkshake turned her honey-gold gaze back to the tom with a soft chuckle, "Well it certainly didn't look like you did - Your fur spiked up like a porcupine!"
    She waved her tail behind her, signalling to the cat flap in the patio door, "The dog's been taken to his kennel outside now, would you like to come in?" The she-cat flashed him a wink, "Don't worry, I'll save you from the big bad dog."
    Though Rascal, the mutt in his kennel, was far from big. He was barely Jack Russel size.

  • ||Milkshake

    Milkshake purred again, before bounding over to the cat flap and nosing her way in. Once inside, she was surrounded by her living room, a large white room, dotted with two luxury sofas. Will a meow she hopped up onto one of them, flicking her tail for her new companion to join her.
    ooc;; Lol it's okay xD

  • Smiling, Jasper followed her into the house. He jumped through the cat flap and looked around the room that he landed in. He then looked around for Milkshake and then saw her on the sofa. He smiled and plodded over to inspect it, it passed his test. With a purr Jasper jumped up as well and said, "Your people are good at keeping the house!"

  • ||Milkshake

    "My people don't have work anymore, they're elders now." Milkshake said pointedly, flicking her tail to a picture of the couple on the mantle piece. With a yawn, she drew her paw lazily over her ear, her tail wrapped over her flank as she lay on her side, glancing over to Jasper, "So, how long have you lived around here?" The ginger-cream tabby asked politely.
