the huge white tom leaned down in tinys ear and whispered somthing she hissed at him "what but why?" she jumped infront of his and mewed the tom replied calmly "the river water is too high its flooding into our den" she looked at fallen heart sadly then back at him "how about we find a new den? it wont be that hard" she mewed snow looked at her "fine come on tiger" tiger got up anf followed snow they fadded in the dicstance

Spottedtalon gazed into Brockenclaw's eyes. Then she froze. "Go down!" She hissed. "I smell cats of my clan." She ducked down. "I'm going to hunt. You two can remark the borders." A deep voice spoke. "That is Cloudstripe, my clan's deputy. He's very annoying." Spottedtalon whispered under her breath.

As the noise grew smaller, Spottedtalon relaxed. "Whew! That- was close." she giggled.

"So," she paused. "I better get going now." she meowed sadly waiting for Brokenclaw's reply.

"But I have to see you!" she cries out loud.

she sighs. "I know." then she pads off back to her side of the territory. "Goodbye!" she meows.

Spottedtalon pads back to camp, holding a mouse in her jaws. Is what he said true? Maybe so. It's safer to not see each other. The last thought made Spottedtalon's heart ache.

Just as she was padding back to camp, she heard a sound. She turned around and before she could react, she fell to the ground and everything went black.
