Chance pressed his fur against the wall, and heard the sound of pawsteps. They were very small, and faint. He knew in a second that it was a rat. He loved rats, but it was hard to tell if they were sick or not, so he went to a different spot. "Can anyone hear me?" He howled, feeling lonely. It had been weeks since he'd last seen another dog, and the last time he was attacked by one. (Someone should respond and come to me. ;D)
