    Throughout time, there were two main sources of magic that each brought a type of wizard's. The first used light powers for good. They were well known as the magi or mages. They have had many powerful leaders throughout time, but they are probably best known for the wizards Gandalf (Lord of the Rings) and Dumbledore (Harry Potter). The second group used their dark powers mainly for evil and power. They were best known as the necromancers and have also had many powerful leaders. They are best known for the wizards Sauron and Saruman (both Lord of the Rings). During most of time, these two groups have been at full war. Many of the wars were bloody and brought severe death. Then a powerful wizard learned both necromancy and light powers and abilities. He also had a major ability to prophecy. Before his death, he prophesied that in a big battle, the tow sides would unite and there would be a peace period for two-thousand years between the two sides. Though they would have seperate power still, they would unite under one banner and fight for the same purposes. This story goes into the fulfillment of that prophecy.

    no, its a fight were a village has broken free from its tyrant country. They are forced to call the light magi and a necromancer who lives in a cave about one days walk away because the country has waged war on them. The two groups are forced to join to beat the tyrant country and the two groups who hated each other join for a peace period of two-thousand years. I just used HP and LOTR as examples of the two general types of magic and groups.
