  • Frostfeather hated to swim. She wasn't even originally a RiverClanner! She had just went to the border to meet a good friend from SnowClan, planning her escape back to SnowClan beside a fast-current stream, and she had accidentally fallen in...

"ACK!" Frostfeather shrieked. Her long maine coon fur dragged her down to the deep, deep bottom. She tried to swim, but it was to heavy. "WHY DID THOSE CATS HAVE TO KITNAP ME FOR?!" She yowled. "I HATE IT HERE!"
Snowdapple hissed. "Then why don't you come back, Feather?! Why don't you?! I don't know how to swim! But if anyone finds me here...!"
"SOME ONE HELP ME!" Feather croaked, going under. Snowdapple was screaming for help, but no one listened. No one ever listened. Snowdapple caterwauled, screaming.
Feather was letting go now, slowly, giving up while Snowdapple called for help. Was anyone going to come? Or only death?

  • Spellcaster knew nothing about this so claimed kidnapping, but she could hear the cries for help. The she-cat dove into the water, paddling powerfully toward the soggy, drowning Maine Coon. Leaning forward, she attempted to grasp the scruff of the cat and drag her back to the shore.

  • Snowdapple leaped to the shore to help Spellcaster pull her friend up, completely forgetting about her SnowClan lines.
Frostedfeather coughed up water repeatedly, shivering and cursing.
"My fur is NOT for swimming!" She meowed, but, in her paw, was a fish attached into long, silver, unsheathed claws.

  • Spellcaster should have immediately realized this cat was not of their Clan - but she was a bit busy concentrating on pulling the drowning cat to shore. After Frostedfeather was safely on shore, Spellcaster pulled herself up and gave a shake of her pelt. "Are you okay?" she asked softly, water dripping from her soggy pelt. She glanced briefly at Snowdapple, but returned her attention to the cat who had almost drowned.

  • "Mmhmm. Thank you." She meowed. "I'm a maine coon, it's hard to swim with such long fur." She shuddered, then sent a warning glare at Snowdapple, in case the cat was in need of a nice, long run back to SnowClan territory, but pulled the fish off her claws.
    "That's one way of hunting."

  • "... I'm not really sure how, actually. I wasn't pushed in, but I didn't just fall in either. It might have just been the wind. Who knows?" The cat meowed.

  • "Well as long as you're alright now...we should be heading back to camp, so you can dry off," Spellcaster mewed. Of course she had been indicating both cats, but something seemed...off. Blinking, she turned toward the cat named Snowdapple. "You aren't from RiverClan, are you?"

  • Snowdapple slowly began to pad backwards, but looked at Spellcaster. "..." She whipped her head to Frostedfeather and back. "No." She admitted.

  • "Where are you from?" Spellcaster inquired. Her voice was soft and non-confrontational. She wasn't here to start a fight, though, if this cat refused to leave their territory, there would be issues.
