A small kit burst through the long grass and skidded to a stop. The thunder path separated her from what could be safety or more danger. She heard the other cats yowling, they were getting closer. She had no choice. With a burst or courage, she flew across the thunder path, nearly missing a huge monster. She kept running through the tree line, father and farther into the forest.
"Where did she go?" hissed a black tom.
"into thunderclan territory" hissed a silver tabby in reply.
The kit was losing her strength. She slowed her pace and dragged her paws sluggishly. Her last meal had been a day and a half ago. She came upon rocks, smooth inviting rocks, that warmed her fur and soothed her muscles. "I'll rest here." she said. Curling up in the sunlight, the kit was oblivious to the patrol that would soon come and find the intruder on the SunningRocks

Sandblaze lifted her head, tasting the air. "Rogue!" she hissed, not knowing it was a kit. She flicked her tail, signalling the other Warriors to surround SunningRocks. They all slunk forward.
-
The kit yawned and stretched after her long nap. She licked her paw, but something caught her attention. She turned and saw a moue, scuttling along the rocks. Without hesitation, she sprinted and pounced on the mouse, which slipped from her grip and raced towards the crevices in the rocks. Swiftly using her tail, she turned and swiped the mouse into the air, killing it. "A mouse! What a treat" she excalimed
-
"You dare hunt on our territory_" Sandblaze stopped short when she saw the loner was a kit.
-
Mistkit froze in the middle of her bite. Her last run in with these strange cats that lived in thses 'clans' had caused a painful scar down her front leg. "I cant look weak" Mistkit thought to herself. She flattened her ears and hissed weakly at the cat.
-
"It's alright, we won't hurt you" Sandblaze mewed.
-
Mistkit perked her ears in confusion. The she cat had a different air around her, one of kindness. "I-I'm Mistkit" the smalled kit mewed.
-
"Do you want to come with us? We can take care of you" Sandblaze mewed tenderly.
-
Mistkit widened her eyes in surprise. Inviting her to live with these big cats? Her heart leapt with joy. But, she hesitated. How would she continue her search for her brother? Her rumbling tummy reminded her she probably wouldnt survive without help, and the thought of the family in a clan overwhelmed her. "y-yes! yes please!" she mewed eagerly
-
"Do you want me to carry you?" Sandblaze mewed, padding over to Mistkit.
-
Mistkit wanted to say no.She didnt trust this cat completely, but she was tired and dehydrated. "Yes please" she mewed tiredly.
-
Sandblaze picked up the gaunt little kit. She strolled into camp, ignoring the stares. "Littlespot, go tell ____star what has happened." Sandblaze mewed. The small spotted Warrior nodded, padding into a den below a large rock. Sandblaze padded into the Nursery. A snow white queen sat in her nest, grooming her fur. "Iceflower, please look after this kit. Her name is Mistkit, and I found her on SunningRocks" Sandblaze explained. "Of course" Iceflower replied. Leafblossom padded in, the medicine cat. She sniffed Mistkit for a while. "She's dehydrated, exhausted, and malnourished. I don't think it takes a medicine cat to know whta to do" Leafblossom explained. "Right. Nightstorm! I need water soaked moss, dry moss, and bracken. Take another Warrior, or apprentice to help you" Sandblaze ordered. The black she cat nodded. Leablossom exited. Sandblaze set a thrush, chaffinch, and vole in front of Iceflower and Mistkit. Iceflower crouched to eat the thrush. "You pick what you want" Sandblaze mewed to Mistkit.
-
Mistkits eyes widened at the tantalizing bouquet lied out in front of her. She sniffed each one carefull, but the vole enticed her the most. She took a bite and almost sighed as it brought new hope and energy to her. "Thank you for your kindness Silverheart" Mistkit mewed softly. She felt comfortable and at home for the first time in 2 moons. She looked at Iceflower cautiously while she ate, wondering if the queen would really take her in. Her heart sank. The cats probably would make her leave in the morning. "When do i have to leave?" Mistkit mewed to Silverheart.
-
"You may leave whenever you wish" Silverheart replied.
-
Mistkit's stomach dropped. She should have known not to hope. "I won't be a burden then" she choked out. Mistkit finished the vole and started for the nursery exit.
-
"No, no! Don't leave. You aren't a burden. I meant you can leave whenever you want to, you can stay as long as you like" This kit is confusing!
-
"Oh. OH!" Mistkit smiled nervously. Duh mousebrain! SO i can join ThunderClan?
-
"Well, that parts part's up to _____star. He/she's the leader of ThunderClan. You'll have to ask him/her. ( you pick the clan leader's name and gender and stuff)
-
"O-okay," mewed Mistkit. She took another bite of vole and chewed slowly, as if considering something in deep thought. "Can you take me to see Redstar?" mistkit mewed anxiously.
-
"Sure. He dhould know what's happened by now" Silverheart replied, eying Littlespot. She stopped at the lichen draping over the den's entrance. "Enter" Redstar mewed.
