he turned around and bolted after her trying to run as fast as he can to get ahead of her

"Ha!" she smiled bunching her muscles into a large leap.

he kicked his hind legs out hard so he had a huge burst of speed and as he wizzed past her he smiled playfully at her

She stopped, her mouth gaping. "Fox dung, he's fast!" Icetail meowed, impressed.

but when he landed he tripped and rolled the rest of the way, he got up and chuckled

Icetail zoomed past him, seeing that he was okay.

he got up and boltrd after her but knew that fall had taken him out so he hadlost but he did not care it was fun being with this cat a cat he could be with

Icetail skidded into camp, turning around to look for Nightwing.

nightwing purposly slowed down and snuck into the dirt place tunnel and slowly walked up behind and stood there waiting for her to notice but he did know she had won the race

"Hmm." she wondered where he was. She turned, jumping 3 feet when she saw Nightwing behind her. "Nightwing!" Icetail hissed, smiling afterwards.

"good job you beat me" he purred "and sorry for the scare u really did not think you would react that way" he sighed looking lonely again "well its late im going to the den" he said awkwardly then his head bowed he walked to the den even though they were in the same clan he did not like having to leave her side

Icetail dashed up to him saying, "No! It was fun! I enjoyed this day with you. You're a pretty cool cat." she purred.

he brightened up smiling happily "so we are good friends" he asked still alot happier

"Of course, mousebrain!" she purred.

he purred "ok ill move my nest next to yours" he said to her smiling as went to do so

Icetail nodded and stretched. She was starving and walked over to the fresh kill pile, picking up a mouse.

he finished moving his nest and went to grab a meal of his own he grabbed a fish and settled next to her to eat

"Maybe we can do a border patrol tomorrow!" she purred.

"that sounds good" he purred back

She nodded, yawning. "I'm exhausted." she meowed standing up.
