    Seruu padded through the dark forest, tail trailing in the dirt. "Banshee, I miss you," he murmured. He always thought about his lost best friend around this time of the day in summer. Crickets chirped loudly, but Seruu was deaf to it all. He longed for someone to be friends with, a friend for a lone wolf. Sitting down in a medium sized clearing, he gazed upward at the stars. Was Banshee there now, watching him from the depths of StarPack? That was the only pack he had ever wanted to belong to.

    Snow padded through the forest, walking off some steam. Her brother was such a jerk some times and she often thought about leaving the pack. She came to the border and sat. after a while she stood and crossed the border. She was leaving and never coming back.

    Seruu grimaced as his back right paw caught on a something sharp. Thorns, he thought, what a nuisance. Leaning over, he tugged it out, ignoring the sharp pains, and licked it fiercely. Once it felt alright, he continued on, not knowing where he was going. Suddenly, a pelt was in front of him. Pack wolf! he gasped in his head.


    "Who are you?" he said, halfheartedly.

    Snow didn't notice the wolf until he spoke and nearly jumped out of her pelt. "Snow." She said, narrowing her eyes. "And you are?"

    She snarled, "I am no longer apart of a pack. Nor will I be for a long time." She looked him over, "what are you doing so close to pack territory, loner."

    Welfa ran as fast as she could,glancing back every once in a while. She was being chased by a mom that had gone insane because she threatened him. She ran at full speed until she was into a meadow. She jumped around to a stop,facing the wolf. He charged at her and she charged right back. At that moment,they tore at each other fiercely until they were both jumping like mad bulls at each other.

    Seruu opened his mouth to reply when his ears pricked. Snarls and the sound of claws ripping through flesh filled the air, and he flattened his ears. "What's going on?" The wolves-whoever they were-sounded like the time Banshee died. He had been unable to save his friend then, but he could save a wolf now.
    Seruu tore off through the undergrowth towards the sounds, calling backwards, "Come on! Hurry!" He didn't know if the other wolf would care.

    Welfa saw Seruu then quickly looked over to see the wolf charge towards her neck. Instead,he made her fling backwards and make her hit a tree. She jumped at him and tore his neck then ran towards Seruu while the wolf was on the ground. She began to lower as she ran until she finally jumped over Seruu.

    Seruu ducked, gasping in astonishment. Growling, he flung himself at the other wolf. He was trying to claw it, snarling. He didnt know these wolves, but he wanted no deaths and it seemed this wolf wanted to kill.

    The other wolf dodged but rolled backwards and began to laugh viciously. Welfa then stopped and looked back. "Wait!Don't let him bite you!" She ran towards the two just as the other wolf stood up. The wolf was still laughing and his mouth began to fuzz. The other wolf jumped into the air and was about to bite Seruu when Welfa jumped and grabbed the wolf's side,making them both fall down a hill. When Welfa landed on her feet,the wolf began to eat himself then he ran off,stumbling.
