Leafkit shrunk back at the "she is just a kit" comment. Leafkit mumbled under her breath and limber into the cave.

She turned her irritated fury to Emberpaw and Shadowpaw. "The whole point of all this is to prove we are as strong as any warrior! Warriors do not make excuses on why they can't do their work!" she fumed. "The reason she came, was to prove she was better than a kit, and so far that isn't working!" She raged, sick of everyone's complaints.
