    Foxstar then said, "Come here." Foxstar said, going to her den.

    Firestorm nodded "We can hunt, but there was very little foodwise where we come from. we can fight as well but we have never been trained." Arda felt a little brave and moved to sit beside Firestorm.

    Oh! That is when Frostfur gives birth, which is in father in time. Thats why i am going to time skip soon, after we get the new cats into the clan. Hey, can so one play the deputy!? Please!)


    Foxstar talked to them for awhile. Then she thought, "They are good, so i shall test them! Berrytail will do this....." Then she called for him.

    OOC: Firestorm can play deputy if you want.
    iC: Arda forced a smile she was very nervous, Flamestorm saw her trembling and licked her cheek to try to comfort her.

    Falconpaw shivered with excitement. Tested? she thought. She was the best warrior ever! No kittypet, fox or badger would be able to beat her!

    (Ok, i NEED SOME PEOPLE TO PLAY THE DEPUTY! IT IS IMPORTANT THAT I SHOUT THIS OUT!)


    Berrytail went into her den. "Yes.....?" Berrytail asked. "Test." Foxstar said, poniting her tail at the newcomers.

    (Yes, ok that Firestorm can be dep. You will have a app. first. Who do you want it to be?)


    Berrytail took them out of camp, to the training hollow. "He will first do a border patrol. Then we will go and do a hunting constest. Last, i will test your fighting skills." Berrytail said. "Now come. We will need to finsh by sun-high."

    (ME!!! I WANT TO BE DEPUTY'S APPRENTICE)


    Falconpaw flicked her tail and padded after Berrytail.

    Berrytail led them to the border. He selted the borders then told the rest to follow. "Ok...um, all of you, split up and then-" He heard one cat yowl in a warning. "Fox! Dang!" Berrytail was fighting as hard as he could but he knows he can not win. "Go tell- Foxstar for a patrol!" He said to Firestorm, tring to kill the fox. He was being thrashed around. He almost was able to kill it, but the fox was killing him. "Oh, starclan help me!" He thought.

    Falconpaw sprang forward and slashed at the fox's muzzle. She slipped under its belly and began to slash at its stomach, spraying blood everywhere. Giving it a hard kick from her hind legs, she freed Berrytail and leaped onto the fox's back, clawing its ears. After shaking its scruff and slicing its nose open, Falconpaw faced the fox and it whimpered and fled.

    Flamestorm ran to Foxstar "There is a fox attaching a cat on patrol!" he yelled urgently.

    Foxstar jumed and sent some warriors out. Whitefoot went to. "Some cats are staying. It might come here." Foxstar meowed, looking worried. Whitefoot and the back up patrole ran off.

    Berrytail was laying on the ground when they go there. "Hold on, Berrytail. Treebark is coming." Whitefoot meowed, hoping he would not die. "To late," Berrytail coughed up blood. "I am on my way to Starclan already. Say to Foxstar I....love her. She is a great leader. Take good care of her and your self, brother. I will see you in Starclan...." Berrytail was fading away."Berrytail, no!" Whitefoot yowled. But he was gone.

    One of the warriors, Redpelt looked at Whitefoot. He was hiding his face. "He was my only brother!" Whitefoot yowled. "Are you ok, Whitefoot?...." Redpelt asked. Whitefoot looked at Redpelt with red, wet eyes. "Go after the fox.....NOW!" Whitefoot then picked up Berrytails body and draged him back to camp.

    Arda cried she was scared her only friend left her with a bunch of strangers. She started shaking in fear while she cried.

    "Foxstar.....Berrytail is DEAD!l Whitefoot said, draging him into the middle of camp. Gasps were coming throught out the camp. "Berrytail!l One of the elders, Half-ear; Whitefoot's and Berrytail's mom, came running to Berrytails body. Other cats came out of thier dens and came to touch nosees to Berrytail. Foxstar came out of the nursery and was looking sad. She started to say some thing.

    "Berrytail was a great deputy. He was a good, and helpful warrior. He was my deputy for many moons. Berrytail should be respected well; He was one of the greatest warrior ever know." When Foxstar was done, Whitefoot went to Foxstar. "Berrytail has a message for you. He said it to me just before he die." Whitefoot said. "He said......I love........you." Foxstar was not surprized, nor mad. She had loved him alittle, too. But, Whitestorm was the one.

    Flamestorm walked into camp and Arda walked up to him, Arda screamed as she saw the dead cat, she never saw one before. Flamestorm watched the cats touch noses with a confused look on his face.
