Raven nodded."i was the careful type.." she giggled

"Hard to be careful" Hawk said with a sigh "But good to be so that ou don't mess things up or get stuck in.... situations"

"getting stuck in situations? does getting your head stuck in a bird cage count?" raven giggled

Hawk chuckled "Getted stuck, you did?" he asked "Always happens when you get too curious"

"yeah i was hungry....i opened the cage and squeezed by head in there.The bird flew out above my head and i tried to pull out but.....umm yeah...." raven chuckled."still caught it after the twoleg got me loose." she said

"Trying to get a Twolegs' bird?" Hawk asked "Guessing they weren't too happy 'bout that"

"nope.....the little ones were laughing the big ones made me stay outside which really wasnt bad." raven giggled

Hawk chuckled "Why do you live with Twolegs?" he asked "Had some... close encounters with them and never taken a liking to 'em"

Raven shrugged."i've always been afraid of being alone plus i was born with twolegs around me." she said."so i really never got tired of them." she said

"Oh, makes sense" Hawk said, nodding "You shouldn't be afraid of being alone, and with Du-" he stopped talking, thinking

"hmm what about duke?" she asked looking at hawk

"Nothing" Hawk said "Shattered thought may give me misconceptions occasionaly"

Raven nodded."duke wasnt the perfect kitten either.He got into so many fights with the other cats.He used to steal the twolegs food too." she said

"Every kit has problems" Hawk said "Some have worse than others"

"yup.." she said

Hawk glanced towards the horizon again "Hopefully the sun will rise for you soon" he said "And for Duke the same"

"the sun is dead to duke.." raven said.

"You can't be sure of that..." Hawk said convincingly, more to himself than her "Always hope..."

Raven nodded."Duke isnt the kind of cat who can change quickly.." she said

Hawk nodded "Hard for him to go" he said quietly "But hard to bring him back"
