Thought I would just bring this up.

  • I think, so raids don't get overrun, their should be only a certain number of players from both sides anyway. Then, deciding a winner would be easy!

Every raid I've ever been in has been completly overrun and with no clear winner. Eventually, people steadilly began to drop out as more people poor in. No bodies going to read 200 posts just to see who did the best in the fight! O.o So why don't we allow like, 6 cats from every team thats attacking. The last clan standing, that hasnt died or run away, would be the winner. Also, I don't think you should put your cat in battle and ignore the risk of he/she dying. If you don't want them to die, don't put them in there. There are times where the only realistic thing to do is die, yet people do crazy, totally unrealistic things to save their cat and piss everyone off because it isnt fair! I love my cats, but I'm willing to kill them if there is no other way to be realistic. If I'm really that mad about it I can just have them reborn. O.o Seriously!

  • [align=center][font=georgia][color=white]I agree with you on the unrealism of having a character avoid death at every possible cost. Not only is this unfair to the others, but as you stated, it's just unrealistic - plain and simple.

However, as far as limiting the number of fighters on each team, I think that'd be a bit impossible. It could happen if it was extremely well controlled - although it may be difficult as more and more people wish to take part. Arguments may even start up of things such as "If I can't take part, why can he?" or "It's unfair that he/she can be in the battle, but mine can't." I agree with you that it would make the raids/battles easier to follow - but I don't think it would happen without consistent difficulty.

I also think it would be a bit unlikely in raids where fan-clans attack main-clans for there to be an exact winner, considering Main Clans have substantially larger numbers in most cases. However, there's always the fact that fan-clans could hold back from attacking Main clans, and instead attack other fan-clans - although I think many people find it fun taking part in a more up-scale event.

  • I don't mean like, full out war. But the little raids could be way more controlled. A raid of six BloodClanners on the border is suddenly met by the entire camp? Lol wtf? I just think it would be alot more funner to have monitored raids all the time, however the winner of full out wars is usually determined between the two opposing leaders over pm, yes? :P

  • [align=center][font=georgia][color=white]I hate raids that end up that way. 6 vs 130.... Er. Smashing. xD

But yes, I agree with you on that part. I'm unsure of how well monitored raiding threads would be be, although I do think that it would be an interesting think to look into.
