There it was, the massive, nineteen foot long reptile that had nearly ripped the leg off of BloodClan's personal Grizzley. It floated lazilly upon the river as if it were a log, resting occasionally along the high rise of sand near the bank to gaze across the barren desert with keen eyes, waiting for the chance to strike out at any moment with the freocity that could kill a lion, and the speed that would match that of even a cheetah in the few seconds it took to lash out with jaws gaping. For now, the bank was empty, and he, perfectly camaflauged, was content to simply glide down the river towards the place he knew cats spent their time. The thick skinned crocodile was not worried about their teeth and claws, they could not penetrate even the softest parts of his flesh, and their greatest threat to his safety, Futan, had been crippled. Worry was not something the beast had as it drifted along in the cool, tugging currents of the caressing water. He would strike at the last second, unseen, and drag his prey to the bottom of the canyon river for a meal all his own.

The black and white paws of Snapkit walked feverishly towards the river. Her eyes glinted with the hint of excitement as she neared the rushing waters, and the sand beneath her feet sunk as she stepped through the desert. One last glance at the camp before the river came into view. Rumor had told her that cats would be training for a raid, and Snapkit wanted in. Sitting around until you’re an apprentice was no way to spend the beginning of your life.
The cool waters of the river rushed around Snapkit's toes, and she bent down to take a lick. Lifting her head, she held her shoulders back, as if preparing for an attack by another clanmate that had spotted her. She narrowed her eyes, hoping to see a group of familiar faces fighting in groups. Her shoulders slumped when no such thing came into sight. Her gaze scanned the bank for the cats, but all she saw was more and more desert.

(Sure, mobile now)
As soon as he saw the kit, the crocodile slowly angled his body towards it, making surenti continue in with the current, giving the appearance that the "log" might have hit a sand bank on one side and now turned to slide past it. But the illusion was only there fir a second before, like lightning, the massive creature struck, tail propelling it forward and out of the water with uncanny speed, the sudden splash filling the air, crystal droplets showering the desert sand as the Croc's powerful jaws parted to take in the small meal before him. Hopefully,he had caught the creature off guard. -
Armageddon watched the croc from his hole in the dunes. He wasn't fooled by this croc. He had been watching him for quite a while now, and actually didn't care what happened to this kit. The croc could be a helpful ally to him- if he listened.
-
Before she knew anything had happened, shimmering water filled the air around Snapkit. At that exact moment, she knew. That wasn't the only rumor about the river; there was a crocodile. Yet at that moment she also knew this was the end. Jaws clamped down on her tiny body, and no noises escaped her mouth. Darkness encased her view, as her life painfully ended.

"Enjoying your snack?"
The snake, now with no witnesses slithered out and over to the river, "Don't eat me, I just want to talk, Mr. Croc."
-
"Talk? To a Croc? Me, to a snake?" The reptile shook his broad head to viciously rip the flesh caught between his jaws, throwing his head back to force it down his throat. One eyes gleamed like amber to stare out at the python(?), curious as to the others intentions.
-
The Burmese python bobbed his head somewhat of a nod. He flicked out his tongue then slipped it back into his jaws, "I have taken interest in your actions, and your strength" he began, flicking his tail, "I would like to warn you the cats and that bear are seeking out to kill you," he hissed, narrowing his one eye "Anyways, I was wondering if you'd like to be allies, I wish to hold a rebellion of wild animals against this clan, and ask of your assistance, you would be rewarded in plenty of yummy snacks, and maybe something else of your choice I can make arrangements for."
{I already discussed it with Hades, a bit, and Minty. Minty likes the idea, I'm waiting for Hades consent on it. So it's not definite yet.}

The crocodile nodded as best he could, the sound of water lapping at his bottom jaw filling the air. The inner lid of the creature's eyes slid across the pupil, blurring it slightly, before rising back up again to dissapear behind the outer, more solid lid. "If I leave the water, I may dry out."
