  • [align=center]PLOT:

[sup][color=black]Alex brushed a strand of black hair out of her face as she walked into school, avoiding looking at anyone as her brown gaze flickered around. She'd been here for a week now, and, somehow, she'd managed not to talk to anybody.
She sighed, and headed to her locker, watching the people around her. It was weird to think that everyone thought of her as Alex, and not who she really was. Zoe Fisher, the girl from England who's life was upside-down.

  • Chance was walking down the hall when he spotted Alex. Luck just may be on my side! he decided silently. Chance had been trying to get his courage up and talk to Alex all week. But he just couldn't, he had chickened out. The tall dark haired boy started to walk toward Alex with a slightly brisk pace, scared she might run away. "Uh, Hey Alex!" He called out to her.

  • [align=center][sup][color=black]Alex paused, then remembered that he would be talking to her and looked over at Chance, her eyes flashing. She thought about just turning and walking away, but he looked like he'd just follow her, so she stopped. "Yeah?" She asked quietly.

  • Chance stopped beside her and looked at her with deep colbalt blue eyes. "Ummm...." He said quietly before raising his voice a bit to say. "I just wanted to welcome you to our school, and say hi." He smiled at her a bit and continued. "Don't mean to sound to rude but, you must be really shy to avoid people for a whole week. You barely even raise your hand in class."

Ooc: Sorry 'bout that last part. If she does raise her hand alot in class I'll just change it, I was taking a guess.

  • [align=center][sup][color=black]Alex just shrugged, glancing down at the ground. "I just don't have a lot to talk about," She replied as an excuse. What was she supposed to say, that she didn't want anyone to know about her secret identity? "And... Thanks for the welcome," She added.

OOC: No, it's fine, she doesn't anyway XD

  • Chance nodded a bit tendrils of disapointment creeping across his eyes but he blinked hard to get them out. "Okay, and your welcome. It's not every day we get a new student." he said evenly. He tapped his fingers against one of his books. "Your first class is English right?" he asked.

  • She nodded. "Yeah," She said, shifting her black bag on her shoulder and regarding him with dark brown eyes, managing a small smile. Probably one of the first since everything changed.

  • "Well that's my first class too!" Chance exclaimed happily, he was smiling a bit wider now. "We could walk there together." He suggested. Taking a good look at Chance you could see his hair was brown and very curly, his hair was slightlly shaggy and was cut just above his ears. He was tall and slightly lanky with broad shoulders and a kind smile. He had a firm jaw and as noticed earlier, dark deep cobalt blue eyes.

  • Alex shrugged. "Sure," She replied, her soft brown eyes flickering with thought. She reached up a tanned hand and brushed her straight black hair from her face, revealing her delicate features and the faint out line of a scar on her forehead.

  • Chance smiled looking over her face, he noticed the scar and couldn't help but ask. "What happened? I mean with the scar on your forehead?" Then he blushed realizing he was being nosey.

  • Alex blinked, and looked down at the ground, trying to think quickly. "I, um, I fell down some stairs ages ago," She said vaguely, mumbling a little.

  • "Oh," Chance said. He wasn't convinced, Alex didn't seem so sure about her answer. "Well by the way Im Chance." He added trying to change the subject.

  • Alex nodded, looking at him. "I'm Alex," She replied automatically, then blushed slightly. "But, you already knew that..."

  • Chance gave a short chuckle. "Yeah, I did." He replied then checked his imagenary watch. "We should get going if you don't wanna get caught in the stampead." He said smiling wickedly at Alex.

  • Alex gave a slight smile and nodded in agreement, starting towards English and letting her hair fall over the scar again.

  • Chance followed catching up with her and matching Alex pace for pace. He looked around and just as they reached the door to English the belll rang and almost like a herd of horses frightened by a gun shot teenage kids flocked to different hallways, and doorways. Chance heard the slams of the locker door and the ocassional yelp as a student was caught underfoot in the despret attempt to get to class on time. Chance grimaced and ushered Alex through the open door.

  • Alex kept her head down as she just about made it to the door in time, hating to be in crowds. Whether it was a crowd of teenagers, or policemen. She went through the door to the English classroom and glanced around briefly before heading to the very back, where she'd be least likely to have to answer any of the teacher's questions.

  • Chance followed Alex to the back of the class and took a seat beside her. Kids streamed in behind them.

  • Chance smiled weakly at her before taking out his books and opening them quickly.
