Bryn smiled and nodded. "Yep. I usually scramble mine and put salt and pepper on it. Want me to show you?"

He nodded. "I'll eat the shell. It's a waste to throw away food." He said.
-
Bryn stared at him. She started laughing. "The shell isn't food. It's a shell."
-
"So? Humans don't think raw meat is food, either." He said.
-
Bryn stared at him. "Eew." she shuddered.
-
"It's a meal." Bryson replied, chomping on the eggshell after she cracked it.
-
"That's just gross." Bryn gagged.
-
"So is casserole." He said.
-
"Casserole is not. It delicious." Bryn replied, stirring the eggs.
-
"You stick with your opinions and I'll stick with mine." Bryson replied. "The cooked egg does smell good, but I seriously don't know why I kept the oven when I moved in. Maybe I just had a feeling." He whispered, coming up behind her and nuzzling her neck.
-
Bryn felt a tremble travel down her spine at the touch. Hesitantly, she turned, stared at him for a few seconds before wrapping her arms around his neck and kissing him softly.
-
He smiled gently, wrapping his arms around her waist and kissing her back.
-
Bryn pulled back, smiling. "You taste like wet dog."
-
"Hah hah." Bryson smiled. "Breakfast is burning." He said in a calm tone as smoke rose from behind them.
-
Bryn turned and quickly turned off the stove. "Thank you for the late warning." Bryn rolled her eyes.
-
"I wasn't paying attention. The stove's not something I'm used to paying attention to." Bryson replied innocently.
-
"And what would you do when I burst into flames and died?" she asked accusingly.
-
He froze. "I'd... I'd... Don't talk like that." He muttered, turning away.
-
Bryn frowned. "What?" she asked gently, suddenly curious.
-
Bryson turned to her, then watched the floor. "I'm an animal, Bryn. A few days ago, my answer would've been that I'd just find another mate. Right now... I don't know." He admitted.
