    Jack was looking at the noticeboard. A note caught his attention.


    Easter Dance!
    Must have a date to come!
    Cool DJ needed!
    Get your tickets in the unused classroom on the third floor!


    Jack looked over at Lexi, the girl he'd had a crush on since he'd met her. What were the chances of getting her to go with him? Probably zero. Sighing, he looked around and saw one of the pretty, popular girls looking at him. Maybe I could make Lexi jealous if I went with what's her name...Shannon? That's it.


    Shannon was watching Jack, starry-eyed. He was reading the note about the dance. Would he ask her?


    Jack ran up the stairs to the third floor and got the two tickets for the dance. He went back down, then realized to get a popular girl he'd need a good way to ask her. He looked at his watch and decided to go get something from the shop down the road from the college.

    lexi got the same noteand she just folded it up and put it in her pocket "no one well ever ask me anyways"she muttered
