A wolf crept out of the bushes. He sniffed the cat by the riverside, Studying it. He sensed it was injured, But didn't know what do do. He sat there, watching it.

Then a orange tabby shecat leapt out of the bushes and quickly grabbed the injured kit by her scruff.

Jacob stood there. Now studying the cat who grabbed the kit.

" Paw off the kit," the orange tabby warned.

"Im not doing anything!" why not trust a wolf?

" I thought wolves ate cats?" the tabby asked inquiringly.

"Sometimes they do." Lantern the wolf growled as he stepped from the reeds.
