Snow turned around and held shadows in his hands. His red eyes seemed to glow brighter. He stood there. The world seemed to be completely silent.

shade tuck a step hack from the bolt. she then umped and ran after him. she caught up and tackled him to the ground. she sitting on his chest.

Nova stopped to a halt, her eyes trembling with sudden fear. She stood back, trying to find the right words to say, but didn't seem to find any. She gave a small gulp,"Please....."her voice shakened.

Yui and Alex watched the whole thing, the wind whistled past as their eyes stared with fear.

Snow grabbed her with the burning shadows he held. "I don't want to hurt you, but if I have to, to save you, I will." his voice had something it had lacked for a long time, two things really. Sincerity... And fear. He looked at Yui and Alex. These two humans were going to be apart of something much larger, whether hey liked it, or not.

shade thrashed and wiggled in the shadows. she wimmperd at him to let her go.
"please, I know you won't."
her eyes meet his.

Snow dropped her, but he held bolts in his hands, poised to strike. The world seemed to stop all around him, but only in his mind. A lone tear ran down his cheek, and he held the bolt towards them all.

Nova shut her eyes closed tightly, trying to manage the lingering pain throughout her. It hurt, it really did. She never in her life never been close to a shadow like his, even when she never possessed a shadow herself. She tried to choke out some words, yet she only shook and stood silent. The cream haired girl pulled her arm to her face and tried to let off the pain.

"Can you see what I see?"she whispered to her brother, clutching onto his arm,"Honestly, I do, I think I got infected from you, damnit,"he muttered under his breath.

shade walked up to him and changed to her human form. she put her forehead to his and her hand on his heart.
"you might think you would hurt but you could never hurt those you love. pleaase I only wish to travel with you through this."

His worries vanished for a brief moment. "In my unhappiness is only for your true happiness. Maybe none of you will ever understand me, but you can always listen." he backed away. "I can't.... Not to you." he spoke plainly and clearly

Nova fell to her knees, staring at the ground,"I..."she murmered, wiping her tears with her sleeve as she looked back at the others. Yui stared in horror, but was slightly confused as Alex,"What.."

shade shock her head.
"wether you like it or not, I'm going to follow you. so get use to it."
she shifted to her wolf form and sat beside him.
"when your ready move forward. I will stand beside you. if only as a pet."

Snow gave up. He saw Nova in pain and dispersed the shadows. "I don't want you as a pet." he sighed "I want you to be more than that."

Nova blinked a few times as the pain faded away. Thankfully. She slowly stood up with a small stagger, looking up at the two with sorrowed eyes.

shade licked his hand and then preset her hand into it. her tail wagging back and forth.
"how about we get food? i'm hungry."

"Err, you do realize how many people saw that right?" he whispered

shade tilted her head to one side. she then looked around and her ears went down. suddenly she wanted to become very small.
"crap." she barked. she moved behind him, hoping to hid.

Yui raised a brow, to which Alex stepped back with a confused look.

Nova chuckled lightly, her face brightening.

Snow walked over to them. "I'll give you 100 dollars to forget what you just saw..."

Yui blinked, glanced at Alex, then back at Snow,"N-No thanks,"she murmered,"We saw nothing! Hehe,"she said nervously.

Alex just stood there, shoving his bangs out of the way.

"Of course you didn't." he laughed and slapped them on the back. He walked away.
