    I'm sure no one will spam again. We are all mature and stuff and we will know how to use the Chatbox properly :D

    Sure, some of us are mature, but not all of the guests are...I'm sure a few of them aren't very fond of us after certain events.

    We couldn't even keep the frickin' box clean and void of cussing, advertising, and spam when there were 200 members. Now that there's about 1000, I truly doubt that we will be able to keep it clean. The members I trust, but this site has a lot of enemies - and the guests are the ones that would hit us hard. And no, Disasterclaw, except for the Chat Room that Proboards offers, we can't make a c hatbox for members only. So let the matter drop, please.

    ENOUGH. We had this for a DAY and it was spammed to high heaven. It really just woudn't work. We had some people come on that shouldn't be here, and don't forget, there are enemies of the site. Roxie has made it clear that there will be NO chat. So please, enough of this.

    We could make it in a board, but what's the point of that? I ask you. Part of the fun of a chat box is so that it's in the global footer, and while you're rping you can still talk to your buddies. If it's in a board all on its own, it negates the entire purpose.

    Look, XAT (I think you have heard of it) produces an okay customizable chat-box. Perhaps, you can create sub-board's' and place them in them. You can have all different types of chat-boxes in one forum, then you see a bunch of sub boards below the sub boards are bulletins on rules and crap, and below that, the forum, where people could make threads on suggestions. When you enter a subboard, (RP, CHAT, GUEST, ECT.) You will see a list with chat room 1, chat room 2, and so forth to at least 3. Obviously if there is a over flood, you have another chat box to use.


    Chat boxs are also quite useful, you can instantly talk back and forth, easily make up new ideas, without the long wait of mail, and you don't have to make long posts like this one, and you can type like this. i r goin 2 rp, want 2 join?

    You can use tabs can't you? That basically solves the problem.


    I have a music box under my c-box. You may look at it yourself. I use a playlist from playlist.com too listen to music at the same time as I Rp. The chat-box is above it. Well on the forum system I use has a home page but-. Nvm, just look at the system I came up.

    I...I know what a c b ox does. I've had one before. So I don't need a recap...


    And again, putting it in a sub-board completely negates the purpose of a c box in the first place. Read my above post...
