    Emberheart padded into the warriors den

    Timberfang yawned as she lifted her head. She had a scab over her forehead from her recent fight with her best friend. Which happened to be the cream tabby a few nests away. The cream tabby going by the name of Lynxsoul lifted her head as well showing off the new nick in her ear. "Hello" Lynxsoul greeted in a more cheerful manner than what was written on Timberfang's face.

    Copperwing, a reddish gold she-cat bowled over Emberheart, she had a crush on him since a kit, her dazzling green eyes were bright with happiness, "I have an apprentice!" she yowled triumphant...

    Good for you! Meowed Emberheart sarcastically

    Copperwing purred, " I'm VERY excited! I want to show her ALL the territory! Smokestar told me I could lead a patrol, can you come? Oh and Timberfang and Lynxsoul, bring your apprentice if you can..." she nodded, " get some grub and meet me in the camp entrance in a few minutes" she walked out of the den...


    "Goldenpaw! patrol!" she called, the little gold she cat scampered over and quickly gobbled up a mouse "I'm ready!" she said swallowing the last mouthful...

    The chocolate she-cat grumbled lowering her head to try and sleep more. Lynxsoul gave her a shove "Chivepaw might want to get out for once" she reminded her friend "I'll take Elmpaw" The cream tabby rose to her paws and flicked her tail at Timberfang's cheek in a friendly manner. The chocolate she-cat hissed lifting her head. Her yellow gaze narrowed as the slim shape of her friend slid out of the den. She shrugged grumpily rose to her paws as well. She stood there thinking about just staying put.


    Lynxsoul stretched her back as she stepped into the light. "Elmpaw!" the cream tabby called in a soft yawn. A young muted brown tabby tom snapped his head up from where he sat. He trotted over his grey eyes confused.


    "Yes, Lynxsoul?" he mewed tipping his tan head that was dappled with his darker colored stripes.


    "You get to go on a patrol" she motioned with her head "Come along" With that, she took off to the entrance. Elmpaw quickly stumbled behind slightly bewildered by the situation.

    a pretty brown and white tabby she-cat walked into the den. "You must be the new warrior," she said smiling, "My name is Leafbright."
