Reedkit yawned. Wouldn't his sister ever learn to have a little dignity?

{White Blaze sat up, a tear in his eye}

Reedkit turned, tail thumping irritatedly now. He wasn't really sure why Pearlkit always found something to do, while he liked thinking things through. Siblings could be very different, he supposed.

Pantherkit lashed her tail playfully. "I like to wrestle!", she said in her heavy Australian accent.

White Blaze approaches LigerClaw, cautiously, claws at the ready incase of attack. "Hi" He sat down near LigerClaw "I'm White Blaze, but just call me Blaze. I'm half cat half tiger."

((Sigh...))

Pearlkit batted at Pantherkit, claws sheathed. "Me too! I love to wrestle!" she squealed.

"Call me Pantherkit. Nice to meet you Whiteblaze.", she said, looking at Pearlkit but talking to Whiteblaze. Pantherkit tried to tackle and pin Pearlkit, her claws shealthed.

Pearlkit was taken by surprise, and was slid under Pantherkit, batting at the she-kit between giggles. Meanwhile, Reedkit watched from a little ways away, but didn't join in.

Pantherkit let Pearlkit up and let her take her move.

Pearlkit jumped up and ran around Pantherkit, squealing, "C'mon Reedkit, come play!"

Reedkit just flicked his tail and grumbled.

"Elder-kit!"

"Ah come on Sourpuss! There's alot more to life than jus' sittin' around grumblin'!", Pantherkit meowed to Reedkit. "At least you've got a family!", she added trying to persuade the kit to come play.

"Yeah, Mr. I-Don't-Like-To-Play!" mewed Pearlkit as she batted at Pantherkit.

"Oh alright!" moaned Reedkit. He stalked over and threw himself at Pearlkit, making her squeal with delight and surprise as she was bowled over into the snow.

Pantherkit pounced on the kits creating a pile of squealing happy kits.

Reedkit yelped in sudden happiness, and Pearlkit battered them with her hindpaws. "Yay!" she squeaked.

Pantherkit then felt the urge to swim. She got off the cats and walked a little ways forward, then sat down, looking out.

The two siblings jumped to their paws, and Pearlkit padded eagerly after Pantherkit, with Reedkit now following. "What's the matter?" she asked.

"I want to go swimming.", she said. "I don't care how cold the water is. I just need to feel it on my pelt.", she added. Swimming, to her, was like eating, drinking, and sleeping. She couldn't live without it.

"Uh..I wouldn't do that if I were you," Reedkit advised. "I know an apprentice - Silverpaw - who fell into the river while fishing not long ago. She got so cold and wet she barely survived, and she wasn't in there that long. You can swim when it's warm."
But Pearlkit nudged him. "Oh, you just love to spoil fun, don't you?"

"The cold can't hurt me! I'm Pantherkit!", Pantherkit said triumphantly. "I'll go swimming just to show you!", she said as she got up and started walking out of the clearing to the river.

Pearlkit bounced out after her. "Oh well, don't complain to me when your paws are icy and your pelt is freezing," Reedkit sighed as he trudged after them, completely forgetting about Aquapoppy's plea to stay safe in camp.

Pantherkit marched out of camp. "I'll show you. My pelt is used to cold water. I can take anything.", she said.
