The young mare's blood-shot blue eyes traveled through the large clearing. "Where are you?" she whinnied softly,
But her sentence was carried away with the wind. "Can you here me mother? Are you there? Father? Luna?" she murmered the names of her beloveds, knowing they couldn't here her but couldn't resist trying.
Farrah folded her long legs under her, resting her head down, taking a small break from her endless search.
She closed her sky blue eyes, listening to the wind howling around her. When Farrah was a very young mare she lived with a small herd consisting of her mother Cleo, her father Shadow, her sister Luna, Shadows other mate Rose, and Rose's daughter Destiny. Her beloved mother always warned her to never stray far from the herd, or else shed be whisked away by some young bachelor stallion, and would never see her family again. It was a clear, starless night when the storm happened. She feared the lightning, ran from the thunder, and lost her here. Forever. Now she was a lone mare, forever searching for a herd that refused to be found.
Farrah is lost & lonely, looking for love! (and friends!)

Ghost, a large silver stallion with a flowing black mane and tail, ran through the fields, his hooves pounding the ground forcefully, sending him practically flying through the night. His nostrils flared as he breathed hard, his chest heaving, his heart pounding. He ran fast and far, looking to start over, to get away from his abusive past and the humans who were a part of it. Now he was as free as the wind that blew through his mane, and he would never let that go. He came upon a hill, skidded to a stop and reared up, flailing his forelegs and hooves through the air as he let out a shrill whinny, calling to any fellow horse that may be nearby, letting them know that he was there.
-
Farrah leaped to her hooves, excitement pounding through the mares chest. "Hello?!" she whinnied loudly, facing the mountains. "I'm here! It's Farrah!" The young mare danced in a circle, snorting with joy, certain she was finally found by her herd.
-
Hearing an answering call, Ghost stopped and looked in the direction in which it had come from. "Hello?" He called out again, to make sure it had actually came from that direction. He galloped towards the call, wanting to see who it was
-
Farrah sighed in disappointment. It wasn't her herd. Just another stallion. Still, she thought. Maybe he might provide good company. The young mare walked timidly towards the large stallion. "Hello," she whinnied softly, her blue eyes fixed on him.
Occ: Farrah is a brown & white paint with blue eyes :) -
((Pretty
))Finally catching sight of her, he smiled and walked calmly toward her. "Hello, how are you?" He asked, normally not too good at talking to those he just met. After he got to know them though, he's able to open up and be more like himself
-
"Fine," she whinnied taking a step closer. "You?..."
-
He looked back behind him, somewhat nervously, to see if anyone was following him then looked back to her. "Pretty good." He said.
-
Her reddish brown mane flapped in the breeze. "Well um, I'm Farrah," she whinnied quietly, dipping her head to the side.
-
He dipped his head a bit shyly. "Mine's Ghost." He said.
((Sorry for the inactivity, I've been sick

OCC: no prob, I broke my typing arm!!!!! Arg!!!
Icc: Farrah paused. Her throat was as dry as the dessert hills That surrounded the clearing. "Do you know of any streams?" she couldn't help asking.
