    Crickets chirped nearby, and an owl hooted. The shimmering beautiful stars were spread out across the dark night sky, and the full moon shone brilliantly. "Let's go!" Mirrorstar, a cream she-cat with golden eyes and a long tail called, waiting anxiously. Firepaw quickly swallowed her last bite of the delicious fat thrush she was eating, and got up slowly, stretching. Juice dribbled down her chin, and she quickly lapped it up, purring with satisfaction. She bounded over to her mentor, a strong and fierce ginger tabby named Blazeflame. He looked down at her, searching for any faults or mistakes, and nodded with approval. Firepaw looked up at the stars, which sparkled like a million dewdrops or the snowflakes that came in chilly leaf-bare. Finally. She thought excitedly. [i]My first Gathering!
