  • Zira raced into the clearing, panting. There was slashes on her face from those SunClan brutes. "Elixor!" she screeched. "We need your help!"

  • ((OOC| You PM Aurora Grims or you want me to?))

"Elixor!" A higher-pitched, foreign-sounding yowl joined Zira's in their plea for help. Jahi the Egyptian Mau had traveled fast, and was panting, but he wasn't beaten. Not yet.

  • ooc: :P I was in the attack thread too..

Elixor darted into the clearing, his ears pinned back at the stench of blood and death. He could tell they'd been attacked, but by who? He glanced over his shoulder, sniffing for others..., before turning back to them. "What's going on?"

One she-cat bounded over, her eyes bright, then she blinked at the bloody cats. Her servaline head tilted- oh dear. They seemed to know Elixor though.

ooc: Heck I forget her name. x.x Zemi asked me to temp her..

  • ((Aduh Chris. *headdesk*))

Jahi knew from description this must be Elixor. "It's Sunclan- they're attaching the Death Pride. We don't have enough fighters to defeat their warriors, there's twenty of them or so - we need help." The Mau's green eyes burned into the serval's... oddly enough his build was almost a replica of his, lean, leggy, though not quite to the extreme the wildcat showed.

  • ooc: AHA! Her name is Akiha. Do you know when Zemira's coming back?

Akiha's eyes widened. Sunclan was attacking their-oddly named- allies?

Elixor nodded, his ears pinning back slightly. "Akiha, could you call in cats to help? Get the other othercats if they're ready to go. That means Luna, Soren, their cubs, my mother and my littermates- Muna," he hoped she was around, she'd been gone for awhile, "Pendulum, and Atalantra. Anyone else who's ready as well."

Akiha nodded to the black serval and darter away, her own servaline body moving quicker than a smallcat's would.

  • A strong wave of fresh blood-scent washed over them, and Agro stumbled into veiw, coughing around a small scrap of chocolate tabby fur. "Too... late..." he groaned, his voice taut. His face was a mass of blood, mangled and cut up. It'd be a miracle if Elixor could recognise him now, especially when the blood covered up the Death Pride scent. Of course, the black serval was no idiot, he could peice two and two together, of course.

  • Occoquan was a bit surprised by the speed with which he'd come here...well, when one was fleeing for his life, that was probably to be expected. The bobcat hybrid stayed silent, glancing around.
    -----
Antidiestablishmentarianist probably shouldn't go on about hatred for SunClanners - he had two different litters of half-siblings there, one who was mothered by a former Tribe cat - Mistwind, and another mothered by a lesser-known warrior - Littleray. The cream tabby had no knowledge of his true parentage - Flurryfall and Poppysuckle - no grasp of the prestige of his vast family, so really, he didn't stick out much. Not like his high-positioned relations would offer much more - he was second-cousin to the BloodClan deputy, for one. BloodClan, Tribe of Many Storms...they didn't exactly mix well any more.

"I can help," he meowed carefully, noting that the only cats Elixor was calling up were Othercats. Think your kind's so much better, hmm? Just because I'm not a serval doesn't mean I'm useless.

  • Chumvi dropped Tesla onto the ground quite unceremoniously. The chocolate tom looked at Elixor.

    >Aurora, Mixx also had Bru, who is a SgorrxZira kit. Do you want to keep him, or should I adopt him out?

  • Now, Spotsylvania carried Recluse into the camp. She noticed Agro and set the kit as his paws, sitting down and relieved to see Occoquan still around. "Occoquan," meowed the queen, beckoning the kit over, which he did.

  • "Shit, Argo." Swore Jahi, trotting at once to his friend and bolstering him with his slim shoulder. "Have you got a healer nearby Elixor?" This was pretty damn serious.

  • ooc: Ah, another one I never knew about. ;.; you can adopt him/her out.

Damn. Elixor's eyes widened when he saw Argo's face and his lip curled slightly in disgust for what Sunclan had done. The fur along his spine lifted up. He looked at Antidisestabli...Anti. "Anti, could you go get Dreammeadow or Owlsong and call off Akiha from getting everyone?" Well, he couldn't read Anti's mind, but if he had he would have argued that the last sentence he had said to Akiha was targeting the whole fight-ready tribe. He looked at Argo. "Do you think they're going to try add your territory to theirs?" he asked.

  • A commotion started up in camp. The low buzz of mumbling and yowling struck up almost at a single moment. Rainpaw lifted his head groggily, snapping out of a deep sleep as the noise reached him in his nest. He turned his navy blue gaze to the heap of pale gray and light brown fur laying next to him, and nudged it roughly with his nose. "Hyenapaw, get up, something's happening," he grunted, getting to his paws to investigate.

Hyenapaw was already awake. The reek of blood had woken him up long before the meows of his tribemates reached his small ears. He had been curled up to cover his nose and keep the wretched scent from entering his nostrils. "Rainpaw," he mewed, uncurling his body, "I smell blood. I don't want--" the undersized to-be stopped mid sentence when he noticed his brother wasn't listening and was already halfway into the main clearing. Hyenapaw sighed and followed him to the origination of the blood-scent. He winced when he saw the tom that he couldn't quite recognize, matted in blood.

Rainpaw's ears were pricked up as he tried to pick up the details of the situation. "Hmm, SunClan attacked Death Pride, it would seem," he murmured to Hyenapaw as his little brother appeared beside him. Seeing his brother's thin body begin to sway, Rainpaw moved a little closer, still keeping his dark gaze on the Death Pride cats. I smell a battle coming up, the to-be thought, excitement causing his pelt to bristle.

  • Tijuana had, seeing that they were approaching another camp, refused to be carried by her brother any further. She dragged herself in under her own power, broken leg dragging uselessly behind her. It hurt, but it had now dulled to a numbness that seemed to be making its way up her body. Seeing Agro lying there, the blue-cream tortie closed her eyes briefly. That was not good. She didn't matter as much as he- the leader should always be taken care of first, no matter what their injuries. "Oh great," she muttered when she realized where they were.

She'd never really liked the Tribe of Many Storms. She didn't hate them, she just wasn't overly fond of them. The small she-cat lay panting near the rest of Death Pride, wishing she'd let Cherokee carry her instead.

  • ooc: Shall I have him live the night? Hmmm....

Agro let himself lean on Jahi. He was way past trying to look strong for his Pride. "I doubt they're looking for more territory," the chocolate cat meowed, each word a painful rasp. He'd run far to fast here, and the strain of his lungs now gulping for each breath was too much for his body. He felt dizzy. "They came to retaliate. We raided them recently, as I told you at the meeting...

He looked around, his eye nearly shut tight from the blood. He opened it a crack to see. Half his Pride wasn't here... Where was Serabella and Andromeda, Darker, Bunko, Frodo, Python, Paperbag... He'd only just gotten Andromeda and Darker back a few weeks ago, he thought, with panic. It was becoming harder and harder to stay upright, even with Jahi there. He dropped the little scrap of fur, which happened to be a very blood-stained Halibel.
    --
Halibel squeaked as she hit the ground, the little chocolate tabby's fur steaked with Agro's blood. She lay stunned for a moment, the terror-ride over here was too much for the kit to register. She was otherwise unhurt. Blood-scent was clogging her nose, ew, ew,ew. "Mama!" she mewed, inching her way over to Serabella, or who she thought was Serabella, the blood having dripped in her eyes, for she was moving towards Tijuana.
    --
Recluse huddled where she lay, occasionally letting out a squeak. Where was mommy? Paperbag wasn't here... there no warmth, or the feel of Paperbag's fur, or Paperbag's heartbeat in her ear, or Paperbag's lovely comforting scent .She started crying.

  • Tijuana was slightly confused when the little kit, one of Serabella's, came inching closer to her. Immediately, the blue-cream tortie's eyes softened, and she waited patiently for the kit to reach her. She would comfort the little thing until her mother arrived.

  • Cherokee had let his sister go at her wish, but felt bad for making her drag herself. He came in and lay down next to her. He looked at her broken leg and flinched. He began to wash her, for comfert mostly. He saw the little kit and left his sister. The kit would do her some good in comfert. He made his way over to Agro and Elixor and sat quietly.

  • "Yup." The little she-cat pulled herself into a more stable position than the spread-eagle one she'd been in before, noticing that her brother had left her alone. "Be nice if it got fixed, but he's priority." She nodded toward Agro, who was still being supported by Jahi.

  • Halibel sniffed at Tijuana. Oops, this wasn't mama, but it didn't really matter right now. Too tired and confused to ask Tijuana where her mama was, she just let herself flop over near the larger she-cat.

    --
Coyote soon came scrambling up into veiw. "We left Griffinwing behind!" he gasped, his smallish body shaking. The kit looked behind him. Some SunClan cat had gone for her.
That had been scary... waking up to a scene like that! "Mommy!" he blubbered, darting over to Sposylvania and Occie and sheltering behind her body.

  • It seemed the whole of Death Pride was coming over to their territory, Elixor thought, and peered at the kits. He hadn't really known Griffinwing or.. any of them, but he guessed he'd be learning a bit more about the cannibalistic pride. He didn't know what to say, so glanced at Rainpaw and Hyenapaw. "You two, grab some cobwebs and the healers!" He said, his voice urgent as he looked at Argo's wounds. They were bad.

He didn't know who would become leader of Death Pride if Argo died... He had no clue if there was another, or if Zira would lead.
