    Concentrating, Earthpaw took off toward Wintergaze. She stared straight at him and didn't avert her eyes. Earthpaw made sure she looked like she was going to attack his side but like before she quickly slid underneath him and swiped out a paw like before.

    Wintergaze allowed himself a brief smile. "Well done. That was much better. I think we'll be done with battle training for today, you've improved quite a bit." He dipped his head to his apprentice. Great StarClan, his mate would be furious with him. He hadn't stopped in all day to say hello to their kits. "Same time tomorrow, we'll meet outside the entrance for your first hunting lesson, along with a border tour. Sound good?"

    Earthpaw grinned and felt excited about tomorrow. "Sounds awesome!" Earthpaw said happily.
    "Bye Wintergaze! See you tomorrow!" Earthpaw touched Wintergaze's nose with her own and took off toward the clan camp.

    Wintergaze watched his apprentice go, shaking his head. Well, training had sure swung her mood around in a hurry. The chocolate warrior took a quick glance around the hollow- empty. Time for him to make his way back to Stalkingpanther. Great.

    Wintergaze shot one last look back towards the hollow, making sure it was empty. He so did not want to go visit his mate, but his kits were calling. They were more important, right?
