"But that isn't the scary part."She squeaked."One,this wound kills cats.two,and you can't tell anyone this but,she's my kit."

Skyflower gaped. "Safe with me. But can you heal her?" she worried for her friend.

She squeaked."I used the last cobwebs.I'm a failure.I shouldn't have become a medicine cat.she's...she's dying.I'm doing the best I can.and make sure Granitefur hears this.if he still stays unemotional...."

Mapleleaf giggled a little."I won't.but Pebblestream might get suspicious."The silver tabby medicine cat of Shadowclan got suspicious a lot."Thank you."She rushed into the MC den.

Mapleleaf turned around."Oh,I'm sorry!I just...well you see...uh..."She stepped out the way.Breezeleaf was on her side,her throat stained red,her eyes closed and laying on a patch of moss that had spots of red blood on it."I'm trying.but she is in the paws of Starclan now.only they can decide her fate."She hung her head.

She looked up."I know.I hope,at least.I can't stand by to watch my own kit die."She whispered."Although,she doesn't know I'm her mother.at least I don't think so"

"You're lying."Breezeleaf opened her eyes.they were narrowed.
"No she's not."Mapleleaf shuffled her paws."It's true."Breezeleaf looked suddenly hurt."My life is a lie!"She cried.she dashed out of the MC den and ran across the moor.she left a trail of blood behind.

Moonclaw heard someone talking, she flicked her ears and stretched, yawning. The well-groomed she-cat padded outside of the den. "What's going on?" she asked.
