Appearance: Long, light brown hair, bright green eyes, heart shaped face, freckles on nose/cheeks. Short.
Personality: Bold, sarcastic, loud, clever.

Emerson played absently with the zipper of her hoodie, looking out of the window at the passing scenery. This was her first year, and she was quite nervous. Her father, being a muggle, hadn't wanted to send her. Her mother, a witch, was adamant that Emerson go. So here she was, on a train, riding off to what she called 'Loony-ville.' She had found an empty car in the back of the train.

"Yeah, sure." Emerson said, taking her feet down from the chair next to her, smiling at the boy. "Is this your first year too?"

"Emerson Pierce," Emerson stuck her hand out.

"Why aren't you wearing your shoes?" Emerson asked, looking from his shoes to his feet to her own mary-jane clad ones.

"Ok then," Emerson said. "Why not?"

"That's a fair enough argument. Just, you don't usually see people with their shoes off." Emerson gave the thought a dismissive shrug.

"Well who wants to be normal?" Emerson asked, smiling a little to herself.

"It's a retorical question, genius." Emerson rolled her eyes. "But I have yet to meet anyone that wants to be normal. So, which house are you hoping to get sorted into?"

Emerson studied him for a second, and nodded. "I'm honestly hoping for Gryffindor, but my family has a reputation of being in Hufflepuff."
