He picked her up and sat down with her in his lap.

Sierra smiled slightly and continued reading.

He put his arms around her.

Sierra gently leaned against shadow as she read.

"Sierra I need to do something to you. It's gonna hurt, but only because I love you." He said.

Sierra set the book aside and turned slightly to look at shadow curiously.

"I need you to look the other way." He said.
