"Thanks!" I said, to Professor Oak, as he gave me a Pikachu. He said to me, "Ash, you are determined to be the best Pokemon Trainer ever. I will have to trust you more than with just a Bulbasaur or a Squirtle or a Charmander. This is called a Pikachu. You must take care of this Pokemon, he is not a toy. Here, you will need this." He gave me a Pokedex. "With that, you will have to catch all the Pokemon in the world! Bye now." I took his words to my advice. I was happy he gave me a good Pokemon. The first thing I need to do is go out into the tall grass and find a Pokemon. I think I would battle it. Once I stepped into the tall grass my mom ran over and gave me running shoes. "Thanks, I said."
I took 5 more steps into the grass. No Pokemon. All I need is one more step. Okay. I took a step. A Pokemon! It's a Rattata! "Pikachu, use tackle!" I yelled. It killed the Rattata with one hit. Yeah! My Pikachu gained another level. I kept on walking, and walking, and- A Pidgey! Wow, This new Pokemon life is cool. The Pidgey used scratch, while I used tackle. Here comes a Pokeball! I threw a Pokeball. One shake, two shakes, 3 shakes, caught!
I went home to show my mom. She was surprisingly proud of me. She said, "Honey, while you are on your journey, every now and then you must come home and show me some things you caught. What do you have now?" And I replied, "I have a Pikachu, which Professor Oak gave to me, and I caught a Pidgey a cuoople minutes ago." She had a happy expression on her face. She was hopefully enjoying my new hobby.
"My friend used to have a Pokemon. It was a Machop. She died at young age." Her expression changed quickly. I started to feel bad, so I said, "I promise to catch a Machop for you. And I will even let you keep it. I love you mom, but I must leave soon." I said, opening the door. "I'm going to miss my house."
