    Stormpaw and Taunton bolted through the entrance to the leaders spot

    Brokenshadow padded over to the Treebranch and looked up at Silentmist with confusion. What is she planning? she thought and glanced over at Stormpaw. Shes not ready to be a warrior. She hasn't been tested yet...? she sighed and turned back up at Silentmist. Then Brokenshadow realized there wasn't a deputy yet, maybe that was why. Darkstep? Taunton?... Me? she pondered, her tail flicking showing her curiosity.



    Darkkit woke up when he heard Silentmist's shout. He wished so much that he could watch with all the warriors, or better yet be the one in the ceremony. It could be him becoming deputy, standing up on the Treebranch and getting that honor. He daydreamed for a bit longer until he started to listen to what they were saying outside.

    Silentmist smiled. "The time has come to rename a deputy! This early morning we grieve for our old deputy, Fogstep, and his death. He died at an old, honerable age, and though his body is not here anymore, I pray that he is watching us from the Mist. I say this before his spirit so that he hears and approves of my choise. Brokenshadow will be the new deputy."

    Taunton twitched his ears and nodded his approval before standing and going to touch noses with her. Stormpaw shouldered him out of the way rudely and smiled at Broeknshadow,"congratulations!", she practically screeched in her ear

    Darkstep flinched at his apprentice's additude. He shot her a glare that said that she was on dawn patrol. He dipped his head to Brokenshadow. "Congradulations," he mewed, a jealousy as fowl as bile rising into his throat. He turned and left.

    Honeystream smiled at her sister's choise.

    Catching his look, she shuffled her paws embarassed,"Sorry Darkstep..."

    OOC- Judging from the looks of that word, though i cant even say it, YES YOU ARE CORRECT!

    (Sorry guys... I'm going to do this in order.)


    Brokenshadow blushed as Taunton nosed her and she smiled her thanks to him and Stormpaw as she almost made her deaf. She nodded to Darkstep as he walks away and wondered what was wrong with him. He must be disappointed... she thought and made a note to be more friendly with him.


    Darkkit stumbled up to his Adoptive sister and muzzled her. "Yay! You're deputy!" he mewed happily, then awkwardly Ran back to the nursery without any other comment.


    Brokenshadow smiled at the kit then faced Taunton. "Heh scary. It's weird, I thought either you or Darkstep would be deputy. And thanks..." she meowed awkwardly.




    (YES! THIS IS AWKWARD. :D we need people and or some kind of prophecy.

    Taunton smiled and looked down,"Youre welcome...but no, i dont really want the deputy position", he admitted


    YESH! WE NEED A PROPPHECY!

    Ooc: well guys, remember in my sign up how Brokenshadow's shadow is crooked? Well I also said (As if (insert that evil cats name here XD) were watching her.) well maybe that evil cat could posses Broken or something? And then there's like a prophecy about it and other cats and stuff?

    OOC: OOOH! I like it :3 let's discuss it more on the plot thread (link on first post of sign-up page). I also think that Darkstep tries to kill Broken(before she gets evil) to become deputy. XD. MUSE! I haven't had that in a while :3. Also, remember in the sign-up page I told you to say Team Nightcloud(good cat of history) or Reaper? Well, most was Team Realer, so I was leaning towards a plot involving her :3

    Brokenshadow blushed, the skin under her pelt growing warm. She was going to have to set patrols in the morning, it was still rainy and it was getting to be nighttime. It would have to wait. "So I guess I'll see you in the morning?" she meowed and took a step backwards to the warriors den.


    Darkkit pushed all of the other kits over and loudly said, "Hey! Brokenshadow is new deputy guys!"

    Blossomkit rolled her eyes. "So?" she squeaked, cuffing at Dark-kit's ear. "Soon she'll be leader and then my mommy will be deputy! I'm sure, since Silentmist is her sister!" Snakekit cuffed his sister's ear. The kind tom smiled. "That's great!" he mewed.

    Stormpaw had overheard the kits," The deputy isnt chosen just because their family, little ones". She purred with amusement thinking of when she has said the same thing many moons ago

    Darkkit nodded in agreement. "Yeah, since Brokenshadows really smart when she becomes leader she'll choose someone really smart and brave and loyal." he meowed. "Stormpaw can you show us some of your battle moves? Please?" he asked, bouncing on his paws.


    Brokenshadow smiled that pretty smile of hers and went into the den to sleep. Though she started to dream.


    Brokenshadow looked up at the scene in front of her, a look of shock plastered on her face. "No." she muttered softly. There was fresh blood stained onto her paws, and what she saw was horrifying. Darkkit, Silentmist, and many more cats were lying about with gashes, torn fur, and ripped faces. Brokenshadow looked down at her claws again and realized there was fur between her claws. Darkkit's, Silentmist's, Darkstep's. There was more she didn't recognize. She looked back up to stand but realized she couldn't move. That, and the evil she-cat Reaper was standing before her. "I'm sorry darling, I know this is occupied space but you're going to have to share it with me forever." she cooed. Then everything went to blackness.
