  • Zora looked back and turned to him now. "Yes, I do" she said, she would have shouted her defiance at the capitol yet she bit her tongue.

  • "do you have an alliance? I mean, like. Not that I would join because I'd probably just be a burden but do you at all?" he asked desperately

  • Iris began to arrange the branches of the bushes to create a small entrance. Then she noticed the fog was reaching her. She sighed. Well, maybe staying here would still be okay; how much could fog possibly harm her?
She heard the voice louder and crawled under her mini-shelter before anyone could find her.

  • Zora shook her head "No, I do not." She said, Should I...? she thinks, walking over to him again.

  • Checking over her supplies again, Iris began to munch on a cracker.
She finished it, still hungry of course. A cracker definitely wasn't much; even coming from District 8 she was used to eating much more food than this. Snatching her bow and arrows, she decided to try to hunt. She would admit she wasn't all that great with a bow and arrow, but she wasn't too bad, either. She had used a bow and arrow before. Only once or twice though, other than the times she had practiced using them in the Capitol's training center.
Heading back out toward the forest, she remembered with a sudden jolt to be extra careful- if she strained her ears she could still hear those strangers talking.

  • "Well, you know what, sure" Zora said after thinking, now standing in front of him "But first you need to bind that" she said making a motion to his wound. She looked around, wondering what to use.

  • He nods "when my legs heals I can help get supplies from the careers" he said, looked. Around as well

  • "Well, you know what, sure" Zora said after thinking, now standing in front of him "But first you need to bind that" she said making a motion to his wound. She looked around, wondering what to use.

Iris peered from behind a bush, seeing two shapes come into sight. Gasping, she instantly dove back into the bush. She winced as she dry leaves made loud crinkling noises, desperately hoping the two strangers didn't hear that.

  • Spotting some moss and vines she grinned "Might not even need to... well, actually, that is a thought..." she demured the last part, grabbing spongy moss and the vines. Coming back as she was wringing out the moss she added "we having introduced" she murmured, "I'm Zora" she said. Zora looked up at the crunching yet she winced. "We should keep moving.." she murmured.

  • Zora nods "Nice to get aquainted, when we find a quiet spot I'll patch that up" she said. "Then we can try to find some food." She added. Opening her bag, she handed him a stip of beef. Hesitant, she also brought out one of the bent, tap like items, handing the two to him. "I don't suppose you know what that is do you?" she asks.

  • He took the beef, then the item. He began chewing it "ah, yea this is a Spindle I believe, we used it at my district to collect most of our water from the trees, but we do have a river.. It's for when spew don't feel like having to walk there. Is just a quicker way of gathering water" he told her.

    Ooc: I hope that's a spindle 0.0

  • (It is ^_^)

Zora nods "Great" she said, first time in the arena she was smiling. "There are two in there, you should keep one, I'm guessing if that is in the bag.... that may be the only source of water here" she said, thinking now. "Typical that this has to be the Quarter Quell" she said with a sigh.

  • "yea.." the 12 year old agreed. He looked at her weapons then at his hands, he held a strip of meat and a spindle. He didn't even get his bag.. He was to busy running from a tribute that slashed his shin in the first place.

  • Taking a quick look around, Zora nods "Here would do I think" she said, she looked around and placed the bag down and started to weave the vines into the moss, so it can be tied on to Ben's leg. Finished she held it out, "Tada!" she said, grinning, she wasn't so good at lightening the mood.

  • He nods, grinning weakly at her 'Tada!' it's hard to think if cheering up when your in a game of survival. He sat down

  • Zora bent down and before she made the final knot she added "I'm going to have to tie this a bit tight, to keep the wound together and lower the chances of it reopening" she said, then, she pulled the knot tight, but not in a way that would cut off circulation. She stood up and smiled faintly.
