    Braveheart sighed. He knew she was with him again. His brown tabby fur bristled angrily at the thought. He'd been her best friend ever since they were kits! Why couldn't she feel the same way about him? He loved her, and that idiotic tom didn't love her as much as he did!

    Ivy leaf a all black she cat with grey paws padded out of the warrior den and up to brave heart. " Hi brave heart!" she meowed happily. "what are you doing?"


    Flameheart pushed his way out of the den as well, brushing gently past Ivyleaf. He shot Braveheart a look, his eyes clouded and hidden. He looked back up to the she-cat and his deep blue-green eyes brightened up slightly.
    "Ivyleaf, you left the den so quickly this morning... I almost didn't get to ask you if you wanted to go hunting with me." He meowed, his voice raspy from his last greencough spell.

    Ivy leaf nuzzled him. "I'm sorry. You were still sleeping when I left. Of course I'll go with you." she bounded out of camp with flame heart. " Bye brave heart!" she called over her shoulder.

    "Heh.." Flameheart chuckled under his breath, pushing past Braveheart and following her. His orange fur shined like fire in the morning sunlight. "What would you like to hunt, Ivyleaf?"

    Swifttail sits besides him don't listen to them enyway she's yellus because I'm more beautiful (I look like the pic)

    Ivy leaf looked at him. " Hmm well anything." She narrowed her eyes on a mouse. She stalked towards it flicking her tail at flame heart in the direction of the mouse. She pranced on its tail and bit its neck. "Some thing like that." she taunted cheerfully.

    Braveheart stood up. He sighed as he walked out of camp. He wandered to a large tree and decided to climb it. He just sat on top of the highest branch, looking out into the forest. Flameheart was in the way... No she-cat could replace her... Ivyleaf was perfect. He knew her more than Flameheart did!
    He remembered how he got his name... Clan kits were in trouble, they fell into a river and rogues wanted them. But Braveheart dived in after the kits and fought the rogues by himself. At the time, he was Ironpaw, but their leader changed his name to a better one, a warrior name that marked the wondrous rescue forever. Not even that got Ivyleaf's loving attention!

    Ivy leaf caught another mouse and laughed as flame heart missed his prey and got his claw stuck in a tree temporarily. " Careful" she meowed " you need your claws!"

    Braveheart hopped down after climbing down a little. He searched the forest floor. Something was... wrong. The smell that hit his nose wasn't right... He sniffed again. It was... a badger! He hissed as the creature stepped out from behind a thicket bush. His eyes widened, but he didn't back down. He could lead it to the camp if he ran! Ivyleaf could... No, he would fight to the end. He unsheathed his claws and let out a loud battle yowl before pouncing onto the badger. The beast made a strange gruffling sound before flinging him off. It pulled its paw back. No! I cannot lose! If this thing finds her, she could die! He dodged the paw as it flung towards him, just barely scraping his side. Hissing, Braveheart flung himself onto its back. He clung for life. StarClan, help me! He hoped silently.

    Ivy leaf stopped laughing as her ears perked. "Flame heart, did you hear that?" she padded through to the noise. Her eyes widened as she saw brave heart being attacked by a badger. "Brave heart!" she yelled. She could barely talk. Her best friend from kit hood was in trouble. She turned to flame heart. " We have to help him!" she ran up to the badger and clawed its back.

    No! Run, Ivyleaf! He thought desperately. He couldn't have her hurt! Just before it was about to deliver a killing blow to Ivyleaf, Braveheart leaped off its back and into its paw. He grunted before he let his claw out to scratch the badger's neck hard. He flung onto the ground and hit a tree, the world around him grew fuzzy.

    The badger then came straight at her. She leaped up into a tree as the badger hit its head hard. She jumped down on it clawing it's flank into the badgers flesh. The badger ran away into the direction of another clans territory. She was panting but she raced over to brave heart. She could tell he was going to be unconusious. "flame heart, can you carry him back to camp. I'll walk behind to make sure nothing comes at all of us." she stood up as flame heart lifted brave heart on his back. " Go to the med den." he set brave heart down.

    Flameheart lay Braveheart down under an elder bush. "Don't move to much. We'll get you back to camp as soon as we can...." Looking to Iveleaf he rushed to her and pressed his nose to her cheek. "Guard him. I need to make sure that badger really is gone. Please be careful, and if you truly think he needs it, rush to the camp and get help. You're fast enough to do it if you have too, but if I get back before then I'll carry him. If the badger makes another pass and I can't make it back.... Please... Be safe."
    With that his orange pelt dashed into the trees, disappearing slowly. He followed the badger scent, his mouth slightly opened, his lithe body being carried towards it. He caught it just at the border, it spun around and reared up. He barely had enough time to stop and use his own attack. Speed was key here, and he didn't have time to get a paw up before he was swung a few feet back. He growled and leapt at it, latching onto its back.

    Braveheart began to dream... Ivyleaf was being attacked by the badger. He tried to warn her that it was about to hurt her, but his voice wouldn't work... within second the beautiful she-cat's fur was stained with blood as she landed in front of him, dead. No! He cried. No, Ivyleaf! Ivyleaf! "Ivyleaf... no... please... don't..." He mumbled aloud.

    Ivy leaf's ears perked at her name. She turned her head to brave heart. He was having a bad dream. She shook his paw to wake him up. " brave heart? Are you okay?" she whispered to calm him down. "Flame heart is out trying to lure that badger away."

    The badger had swung him off, but he landed nimbly on all fours. The badger swung its large paw at him and he ducked, spinning around and raking his own claws at the beast. It drew blood and the badger growled in pain, aiming for another attack. Flameheart swung at him again, cutting into its thick pelt and muscle. Without waiting for the badger to counter, he leapt, biting hard into its neck. The badger was getting confused and had blood running down its nose and eyes. It threw the tom off and hurried into the other clans territory, knowing it'd never come back.

    Ivy leaf sat up. She looked around for prey for brave heart to eat. There was a mouse just a few fox lengths away from where she was. "I'll be right back. You need something to eat at least." she stalked over to the mouse. She crept up and pranced on it but it escaped her paws. She exhaled and chased after it. She clawed it's neck and bit the creature before it escaped into a hole. She bounded back to brave heart and set it down infront of him.

    Flameheart came back then, seeing Ivyleaf hunt for Braveheart made his heart burn with rage. He didn't want her to notice his jealousy and rage, so he tucked it into a hole in the back of his heart- like he always did. He limped forward, his foreleg having a large gash in it, placing only his other three paws on the ground. His bloody body dropped to the ground a few feet from them.
    "You're safe... Now... Ivyleaf..." The fiery tom mumbled before passing out.

    Ivy leaf sat up. "flame heart!" she yelled. she ran over to him. his blood came down from his flesh and splashed on her paw. "ill get help don't worry!" she raced to dark clan camp to find a med cat or med apprentice. The med brought the herbs and followed ivy leaf. "flame heart is over there!" she yelled out.
