Aria, leading Tornado, who was now tacked up and ready to go, watched as a boy and his chestnut made their way to the small Race Track. She raised her hand in a slight wave before vaulting up and onto Tornado's back, feeling the supple leather of the saddle beneath her. She decided to school Tornado in the ring closest to the track, so she could keep an eye on the new kid. She guided the steel grey horse towards the ring, reaching down to undo the latch on the gate.

IC: Ash returned the wave, locking his hands around the leather reins as they trotted onto the track, positioning themselves into the starting position. With one murmur, Red began to gallop at full sprint, leaping clearly over the hurdles as if could fly. Ash softly whipped him on the hindquarters, feeling the energy in the stallion's hooves as they began to burn, sprinting faster with every crash.

IC: Ash cleared through the hurdles, running his fingers down his stallion's fiery mane. He could feel the pace of the horses' heartbeat, soothing him down with a stroke behind his sharp-pointed ears. "Good boy" he murmured softly, edging a pull with the left rein as they changed direction, heading towards the starting line. His eyes were wide, but Ash leapt off, taking the reins off with ease. He would try the harder way now, free-handed racing. His father had taught him, but since the death Ash wasn't allowed, until now.

Silver rested until Ruby was out of sight she then opened and eye then tightend her eyes as her leg stung as she relaxed it.
Ruby went outside and got onto the fence and watched.

Jess watched in awe, but Tornado was sweaty, and she knew that if they just stood there, he would catch cold and get stiff joints. Reluctantly, she worked him lightly, looking over her shoulder every now and then at the pair. Tornado snorted indignantly, snaking his neck up and down as he trotted on.

IC: Ash gripped onto the flying mane, watching the ground shrink as the horse leapt over the hurdles, snorting as his tail lashed like red waves in the air. "Keeping going Red" he grinned, squeezing softly the horse's ribs with his feet as their pace quickened into a full gallop.

"Don't worry it will heal in a day or two" Darkshadow neighed.
Ruby watched from the fence out into the training area.

Maddie reared up in her stable, her wild hooves kicking in the air. Her palomino mane swayed in the wind, eyes locked onto the stable door. She could see her rider gallop on a chestnut, probably Red Miracle. A pang of jealousy hit her, her wild legs unable to keep still.
Ash galloped on Red, his hands tightening every time they cleared a straight hurdle.

Ruby held out 3 sugar lumps infront of the her 3 horses and fed one to Darkshadow.
Darkshadow reared up and kicked his front legs in happiness.
Ruby then fed Roseflight.
Roseflight did a light jump in her stall in happiness.
Ruby finally fed Silverhoof.
Silverhoof neighed with happiness.

Ash finished his third lap of racing, sweat dripping down his forehead. Patting the stallion's matted mane, he led Red Miracle away from the track, hopping down. "Well done boy" he praised, hauling out a sugarcube. Red quickly ate it, his eyes wide with joy and amazement. "We'll try again next time" Ash grinned, immediatly realising the strong bond between horse and rider.
Maddie reared up again in annoyance, realising it was no use but too wait. The strong scent of treats hung around her, making her ears flattened against her skull. Smashing her ribs into the stable door, it swung open. The mare whinnied in delight, galloping staright towards her rider.

Silverhoof woke up if fright as she twitched her eyes.
Darkshadow was led out into the jumping arena.
Ruby mounted Darkshadow her only stallion.

Jesse, who was now leading Tornado back towards the stable, jumped the side as Maddie came flying past. Tornado spooked and pulled Jesse forward a few meters in fright.
